  1. I use double butted spokes on all my wheels, 2.0/1.8 and never had any problems, always seem strong and stiff.. and generally are easy to work with. I also use Alu nipples on all my wheels, as long as you don't bash a spoke with some force off an object they are fine. I am a qualified wheelbuilder in Cytech 2 btw :)

  2. I reckon if he's anything like you, he will have tried to setup his bike with a hammer and screwdriver.. I've snapped/cracked many frames in less than 6 months, currently had my 2011 ECHO Pure for almost a year with no issues at all. I have had ECHO Urban forks for over 2 years with no issues, I never used a hammer and screwdriver to install any of this? See my point..

  3. That's so freaky! I was thinking of Gigi agostino, but I thought the character didnt match your description enough and I didn't want to look a tit haha!

I ended up asking my boss, he's into stuff like that, at first he thought it was the song "the riddler" then we worked out it was the same little character haha.
  4. Right, heard a song on the TV ages ago, and the video was a little guy with a sort of crocodile head walking along singing something along the lines of "bim bim bada bim bim bim bwada bum" and I can't find it anywhere.. no idea what the song was called or who it was by, so if anyone knows it, post a link up please. :D

  5. Of course.

To Adam (or TB person using Adam's account)

What would happen if this happened twice in a row like it did to my aforementioned friend?? I presume you would only warranty once and the customer would be left outta pocket?

I mean, you couldn't keep replacing freewheels surely? that's not sustainable.

We would look at each case upon it's own merit, but most likely it would be replaced.

Tartybikes replaced one of my TR sprockets with another which went again pretty much straight away, they then replaced it with a Try-All sprocket which was slightly more expensive and seems to be lasting.
  6. Halfords do have high demand, it gets to a point where they have to build a bike every 20 minutes so the quality of the build is bound to be bad... as trials riders i'd expect us all to be able to repair our bikes ourselves, instead of blaming halfords for why our bikes don't work properly.

That's no excuse at all if it endangers the customers health or life..

  7. Any difference between them and mono trials with tech lever?

And why Shimano Saints better than Hope?

They are slightly lighter, personally I prefer the Trial Zone lever as the blade is more comfy than the Tech Trial lever. Also if you get the post mount caliper it is super easy to set up.
