  1. Sorry i didnt make it clear before, it is a rear rim i am looking for. 19" there are a few on tarty that ive looked at, echo sl, monty 221 ti, echo tr, and others. but some are too heavy, some are square holed etc. ideally, i want a rim that comes in red (anodised) so that it will go with the colours of my bike cheers guys
  2. Great video mate, by anyones standards. Would love to be able to ride like you Plus, a bit off topic, but i saw David Guetta (music on your video) at T in the park (scotland, right next to where i live) and the music makes the video amazing I think i deserve a validation for that comment :$
  3. Good call i have a 20" bike and the only people i know with either magura or disc on the front ride with 26" bikes so it's hard for me to make a decision. Thanks anyways mate, by the way, can you vote for me please Cheers.
  4. Yeh that annoys me too. i dont have any pallets and it would be great to find out where to get them/how much they cost. Ive seen them outside supermarkets and asked staff inside about getting them. but they have told me they are being used. you could try that and maybe you will get some mate
  5. Cheers for the replies. i think, because i already have a disc brake ready to fit, i will go for that. plus, it gives me an excuse to get lighter forks which will make the bike a lot lighter. untill more people can tell me a front disc is the wrong way to go, i'm gonna stick with that. Thanks a lot.
  6. Thats great! Hopefully if more people can tell me that the Zoo! frame is better, i will go for it. Cheers
  7. Hi, I ride a Monty 219 Alp and am currently upgrading my parts to make the bike better to ride and lighter. I am looking to buy a new rear wheel and am stuck on the rim. Any advice on which 20" rim would be a good choice, considering weight and price. Thanks a lot.
  8. Hi. i ride a monty 219 alp and currently have a front V brake and rear Magura HS33. I have bought a front Hayes Stroker Ryde disc brake front my mate for a cheap price, but not too sure if i should put that on, as i would have to buy new forks. should i go for it or buy a magura HS33? Thanks
  9. Right cool man, the only minor problem is i have just ordered a front gold rim and red hub, and im not sure if the green and silver colours will go with my bike. Now i know that is a pathetic excuse, but i guess i could get it sprayed Thanks for the advice mate
  10. Yeah i agree with that chris4stars. i have also just learned to pedal kick, and i thought it was important to learn to kick gaps, but when i tried that, i developed bad habbits like leaning to the side my advice is just practice your pedal kicks untill you have got that sorted, like, good balance on the back wheel and good technique, then move onto gapping
  11. Hi, I'm riding a Monty 219 Alp at the moment and i have been gradually been upgrading it. Next on my list is a new frame. I've been looking at the Echo lite 09 and Zoo lynx frames on TartyBikes, but still not sure which to get. I dont want to be spending a fortune, but can anyone give me advice on which frame to get, or if any of the ones i have been looking at are good or not Thanks
  12. Hey, I am also looking to upgrade my Monty 219 Alp frame, and i was looking at either the Zoo Lynx or Echo Lite 09. they are, in my opinion the best value frames for their weight.
  13. I say you should convert to front disc brake. I have a front magura on the front at the moment, and its amazing, but disc brakes are so much sharper. many of my friends have front disc brakes on their bikes and they never brake, unlike maguras which always need fixed in my experience.
  14. Hey I'm Alexander, riding a Monty 219 Alp at the moment and it's doing great. I've decided to gradually upgrade my bike to make it better, and its going well so far. Got a Magura HS33 on the back, front wheel(Try All rim and Because hub) and new Try All tyres. Stared trials biking about 7 months ago and lovin' it. I live in Kinross, central Scotland, so that's where i do most of my riding, in and around town. Cheers. Alexander.
