How is it no a good idea? Will it mess up something or...?

Hey My chain is touching the chainstay on my Echo Lite frame and I'm not sure why? Anyone else had this problem? What can i do about it? (i was thinking of putting a washer in) Cheers.

Hey Firstly, I have just bought thr 2011 HS33 and its awesome. TPA is much better and more reliable than on the 2005 levers, and the lever blade is very comfortable. It is better than the 2005 HS33 but i dont know if its worth the extra cash. Secondly, i used to use the evo 2 adaptor, and its fine if you really want to use HS33's, but it makes it fooking solid to set up your pads right. Hope that helps...... somehow

I have Yellow TryAll Crocos nd they are UNreal in both dry and wet, and perfect for light grind.

Yes problem solved when it hasnt already broken.....but it has. Please, i only asked for some suggestions on buying a new brake, can we not just stick to that?

I dont break my levers intentionally, just to clarify. But i dont think i'd be able to find an 04 lever would i? or is there somewhere that still sells them. Any other suggestions aswell? Cheers

To be honest i didnt post this topic to tell you how i broke my lever, i just wanted a little advice on a new brake. But i came off a 1 foot high wall and it just cracked and snapped off, and not long ago the clamp snapped randomly. Now, new brake?

Hey My magura hs33 lever has broke again, so i think its time to change brakes. I like the look of the Echo TR 2011, but would really like some opinions on it. Also, i could go for the new magura hs33 (2011) but again, would like some opinions/reviews. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I stay near perth and hopefully we could get a ride going there sometime when the weather is better, but i could take a bus through to stirling sometime yeah.

It rides good yeh really like it. The pads are just the £10 Monty ones, but theyre pretty good if im honest, do the job. And i was planning to get double gold rims but the rear one is discontinued and i wanted red tape but that was out of stock haha . I dont really care at the moment anyways, it rides really well and looks pretty smart.

Whats a "showwa" haha? And i only got the front wheel about 5 months ago but yeh i might change it sometime.

Yeh thats a good idea mate, but wont that make the chainline squint?

ehm, im not crying for a start. its just that the chain is like 1 or 2 MILLIMETERS away from the frame and i thought i might have done something wrong...

Hey I have just fitted together my new mod and discovered that the chain is honestly about 2mm from the frame at the chainstay. I have a trialtech screw on sprocket and an echo sl freewheel on the front. chainline is fine, just dont know why the chain is almost touching the frame Its really hard to get pics so i wont be able to put any up. sorry. Anyone got any idea? Cheers

Hey I have a Monty 221 Pr 20" stem and have just bought and Echo SL headset. I dont think the Echo top cap will fit the Monty stem because it is slanted. But will the Monty topcap fit the Echo SL headset? Thanks.

hey man Yes you can get bikes on trains no bother. Me and two others took our 3 bikes on the scotrail train from perth to edinburgh, just make sure theyre out of the way of everyone. There are these special places to tie up bikes, but we just sat with them and didnt get told to move.
