Sounds good man, So we can just come along and have a ride around? Is it free or what......? Thanks
-
OK thanks for that.

Yeh thats a good plan, getting a 2nd hand one. But equally, if you would prefer to start with a brand new bike, go for it. I dont know how long you've been riding, but if youre just starting, it probably would be better to get a 2nd hand mod as you can try crazy things on it and not be too worried about scratches and that. By the way ive just validated you so you can come over to the trials chat for more advice if you need it.

I dont want a noisy freewheel so i can show it off and obviously i dont put noise above quality, i just wanted to know if the trialtech made a good noise, and to be honest i dont think i've got an answer. I cant wait any longer to ride my bike, ive been off it for over 2 months. I need a freewheel and unfortunately the SL is out of stock until the end of november. Let me rephrase my topic, if that would make you all happy. "Is the Trialtech 108 a good freewheel? (would also be slightly interested in the noise it makes if anyone has got any experience of it)"

yeh im about to finish my echo lite 09 and i think it will be worth about 950-1000. so if you dont fancy a 2nd hand bike off here, you could make a really good bike with that budget. I still say go with echo lite 09 or zoo lynx frame.

Ehm fine, just tryin to help the guy....i would prefer a lighter bike cos its much easier to work with but whatever. may i ask how heavy your bike is? mod or stock?
-
DMR V8 pedals - 530g. £25 ish. Echo TR caged - 309g. £35 Echo TR platform - 358g. £45 But DMR arent trials specific whereas echo are a trials brand.
-
DMR and Welgo arent the best in my opinion simple because of the weight. You can get ones of the same quality which are much lighter. Echo TR platform and caged are great. Light and relatively cheap too. Also, if your interested the come in like 10000000 different colours.

If you have 200 - 300 to spend, go for zoo lynx or echo lite 09. But theyre right^, if you havent been riding long, go for onza compor blade. light and cheap.

He says he has trouble going down but no trouble going up and along these rocks. So why cant he go down them the same way he went up? ^thats what im talking about....
-
Can you not just come down the same way you went up and along? Or os that a stupid answer ?
-
Aww nice one, is it all natural or are there like street sections? Sorry if thats a stupid question :L ive never been to/seen a park/club
-
haha im not good enough for comps at all, but i was just wondering where everything happens Thanks
-
Sound mate, cheers. Is there no like, clubs that i can join, either just for a laugh or to get into comps etc?

Hey Really want to go to some kind of trials park but dont know where any are... Ive heard some names but dont know where to find them. ONly one i know is at Haddington? Where are the others? Thanks

I like a freewheel to be loud, and i was asking if the trialtech freewheel is loud because if it has the same engagement etc as the echo sl, and is just as loud, i might aswell get it. However if it isnt as loud, i would prefer to get the echo. Happy?
-
Right just to get one thing straight. im not exactly buying a shit freewheel just for the noise am i? I mean, hundreds of people have recommended the echo sl, so its obv a good freewheel. I like my freewheels to sound good, maybe thats a bit stupid if i was going to buy a shit freewheel, but the echo sl sounds amazin AND is probs the best freewheel...
-
Right you know what haha, youre gonna hate me for this. I'm gonna stick with the Echo SL I just wanted to have all the info before i made the decision, cos i want my parts to last. Thanks a lot.
-
Thanks a lot mate.

Yes i have got a fetish, and i only want to know what people think of the Trialtech freewheel.........
