  1. Rumor is nike ended production of their bike shoe line. I had the shimanno am40 as a beginner, and wouldnt reccomend them because they wear fast while taking your feet off the pedals, especially with threaded studs. I now use the shimanno am41's they are slightly slimmer width wise dont come with the insert. But i took the insert from my am 40's to make the ultimate shoe. And they have the same traction disign as the am 40's
  2. I find a longer stem makes the front end balance point larger. Probably just more forgiving, if your too far forward or back. Other than that dont be afraid to lean too far forward. Worst thing that can happen is you put your feet down, or land on your face. For some reason when im on my front wheel hopping i find i point the tips of my feet down and start hopping backwards. Will help when i wanna learn to nose manual backwards.
  3. I wouldnt properly dish those wheels of yours just yet. My dropouts where slightly whacked. Pushed my wheel to one side.
  4. Different layout something to get used to. Less riff raff than OTN. I like it, better more experienced opinions. Cant look at the for sale section on here though. Unless you want big shipping charges.

  5. Ok im validated now. Thanks

  6. cool to see this today, being the few days a month i check this forum, haha. just got some photos of my final build in today from marino. complete hex geo, only difference is that i am using a 120mm, integrated headtube vs a 120mm standard press cup. so lose about 5mm top and bottom. vert dropout. i was going to have disk tab and v mounts underneath the upper tube of the rear triangle, but geusing he forgot about that.so just dual disk on this one. all in all great buy, and great build. are you getting the same size seat tube diameter as the hex? its also always fun trying to interpet the messages from him as well. but def took me some time to get a final product. be pacient this took me about a month and a half. still a great guy to deal with.
  7. ^cant go wrong with the right tool. Ill have to look for the fsa version. I have a parktool and it does seem to be at the tip of the blades when finishing tiightening. Could potentially cause problems when trying to loosen it, especially when theres an aluminum bb shell involved.
  8. I can't figure out how to do it. Maybe I'm too young or short term and can't? If you can figure out how I can do it let me know. I will also do a search and look at the stickys?

  9. Hey buddy, I cant message back because im not validated, help me out!!

  10. Hey, somehow a guy validated me. I would do it for you if I knew how, same with Ryder in Durango and Indianatrials???

More of a stiff upper lip kind of forum me thinks. Just bored.

  11. Hi guys, took me a while to find out how to get back on this site. Thought I would validate over time, but didnt happen. Ive spent most of my time on the observed trials. Net site. Some may know me by the same name. Do me a favor and validate me. Thanks fellas
