I join up to RC fourm a wile back and cant remember my password and it wont let me reset it, since then ive been getting lots of spam and junk of them to do with RC. Is there a way to remove my self from the site with out logging in to contact an admin?

Get a pressure gauage there really handy when finding what psi you like to run at getting your tyre pressure spot on. Street 25 30 Pure trials 20 both

Sounds bad, how meny thing's did you cut of it to get from 1.6kg to 1.1kg I will just stick to the basics i know, just strip the paint and remove the disc mount some times the bash plate mount's
-
ok, i dont know what the echo weight's but from what you said i guess it was heavier
-
all helpfull replies I have and it does work well, changes the response of the bike quite alot. Ive done this before, think i will do it again all add's up yeah needs to be lighter XD
-
made me laugh. ive read on hear of people doing that, can you get a picture up of one ? could all be possible i will just have to get some tough dremel bits and if i have a steady hand to carry it out. Cutting out the extra bit of in side the frame sounds tricky to. It could be, so i won't be going over the top. Can't afford a new frame to save weight or if i mess it up. As for parts every think is light except the frame, bars, forks, stem.

Ok so am sure you are all sick of these theads popping up and the common reply is "just get better" "build some muscle up" etc etc. But having weight saved on two onza's in the past and them being as simple as cut the bash mounts, disc mount of also rawing the frame saving quite a bit of weight. Got my last bike to near enough 8kg last time. I have already cut the disc mount of and filed the small tab of the bottom of the frame that the bash plate bolts to (left the small square plate on). Will be rawing my frame as soon as i can, also cut the bashring in half i have got on. What else can i do with a limey? The frame is compleatly different to the onza blade and pro. If there are any other part's that can have some simple weight saving of them that would be great. Any constructive tip's would be great, please don't clutter the thead up with daft idea's. Thanks Dieter Sorry for the waste of thread, will only be rawing my frame. All the cutting could just cost me a new frame as said in a post. Facepalm

yeah all checked with a ruler, not to fussed if the tyre is abit out of line as long as the hub and chain stay are all centerd and working smooth.
-
Yeah that's the mistake ive made using the tyre as the guide line but ive done it before and never had a problem, It must just be this tyre am using. As for using the hub and axle bolts as the centering points that works great thanks, all even and true. The tyre is still sitting to one side though, its not the rim because my brake pad isnt rubbing on the one side. Both pads have worn evenly enought to both be set up with the cylinders clamped in the middle and bitting at the same time and the same distance from the rim. Just glad the weather has been bad for once, i must of set a record for taking a wheel on and off about 15 times in one day XD
-
Ok so it is the tyre, ive fitted the tyre to the rim properly making sure all the beading is in the rim evenly, wound the tensioners right out then droped the wheel to the bottom. The wheel sits evenly at the bottom but the tyre is more on the right of the rim some how.

ahhh right, well if he is running a square taper set up thats to wide change to the neon bb if its an isis i cant help you much as i have never had one
-
Haha yeah i did when i didnt have the tyre on, it lined up strate. Think there is something wrong with the tyre making me miss line the wheel up causing everything else to look out of place.n I normaly look down the center of the tread pattern and the edges of the tyre to line the wheel up, every think is spot on when i do that. Didnt have that problem with my maxxi everything was ok to line up
-
Yeah i bought his frame and its all ok. There is a pointy bit on the frame that is just infront of the rear cog when the wheel is fitted. You might want to file that down a bit, it catches if you run a loose chain. Also if it helps the set up of hub bb and cracks are: Trial tech cranks Neon carbon bb Echo tr 116 non disc hub and a Zoo! bash ring keeps the chain away
-
horizontaly. Ive check my wheel and its true and the drop outs are ok. Ive just took the wheel off again took the tyre off and line the wheel back up again with a ruler also with out the tyre on. and it went on strate chain tention right both tensioners are equal pads are bitting equal. Edit: could it be my tyre, i change them to the othere day from maxxis to an echo. didnt have the problem when the maxxis tyre was on.
-
So i desided to change my chain today and it all went ok untill i had to put mywheel back on. I have lined the wheel spot on with the center of the frame but the tensioners are not even. Right side has 3mm sticking out and the left has 1mm sticking out, also the cylinders are uneven its the only way i can get both pads to move at the same time. The right side cylinder is in the middle of the clamp, left side is as far out as it will let me set it, both brake pads have worn evenly. Onza limey drop outs. I cant think what the problem is. Any had this problem before ?

Since i dont want to use my white rim tape any more, i was thinking of just cutting out square pieces and taping over where i can see the rim tape has streched to the shape of the holes in my rim.
-
i was thinking of doing that, went on ebay and i can get flourescent yellow duct tape
-
thanks i was thinking i would have to make my own.
-
Hey just a quick question Where can i find flourescent yellow rim tape for a 19" wheel ?
