I rode until recently a gasgas jtr 380 & had loads of fun riding around my local area. I used to ride the Flappitts nr Keighley , Addingham moorside & the local track at Catlow bottoms which is just around the corner from my house. The only reason i gave up was because the bike was knackered i'd had it since new & it needed a a large amount of work to put right. It was a toss up between another motorbike trials or a cycle trials & i choose cycle trials because it was cheaper & with 4 motorbikes already in the shed i think a fith would be pushing it with SWMBO. I've just got that DVD it looks like the quick snap i caught on youtube was decent enough & thought that might help. I'm 28 & i'm waiting for my bike to arrive i choose trials because i used to ride the motorbike version & i got half decent nothing heavy i didnt rock hope the bike wasnt good enough but enjoyed it. I race speedway bikes in the summer months but i cannot handle having nothing to do in winter so decided to take up trials. I'm hoping that the tuiton on the dvd will help me. I'm trying to find some riders local so i can possibly ride with them & learn i find if your in a group it eggs you on to do better. I hope i can pick up the sport i've been walking around & there ar plenty of places to ride in town. Simon.

I'm new myself i've just picked up a brand new onza cleaner for £299 but they shop on ebay i purchased it from also did the other cheaper models for around £229 just ebay it onza & click buy it now it should show you the models i am on about. Simon.

Hey everyone just wondered if there were any riders from east lancashire about i've just got myself a bike & want to learn so thought i would see if anyone on here is from the local area. I'm hoping to progress & learn so i can use the bike to keep myself fit plus learn a new set of skills & friends. I've got an Onza cleaner which is about all i could afford to buy i don't really know much about trials cycles so not sure if i have got myself a heap or something half decent? Cheers Simon.

Hello all my name is Simon i'm 28 i live in Nelson, Lancashire. I've just completed my first racing season in Speedway which i have loved & the thought of 6 months until the season starts again is killing me. I've been a fan of trials since i was a kid i grew up learning on motorcycle trials bikes but the track i rode on has been closed & redeveloped so the thought of buying another motorbike went out the window. I've really enjoyed watching Julian Dupont's video's on youtube & recently discovered Danny MacAskill & just thought WOW. I've ummed & aghhhed about it & decided to give trials a go, i've just bought a 26inch Onza cleaner which was on ebay with £200 knocked off the price new so for £299 i think it was a bargain & not massive amounts of money lost if i dont like the sport. I'm looking to meet new people hopefully their are some local to me to go riding with & hopefully learn something. Anything with 2 wheels so far i have loved riding i think that cycle trials will be another that i enjoy too. The main idea behind getting a bike for winter is to keep me active & fit ready for when the 2011 race season starts. I've nothing to do of an evening but with plenty of urban obsticles about i think that my local town is a trials playground. Cheers Simon.
