Thanks for the advise, I was not intending to try and do it in one hope ( sorry if I was Mis leading) yeah I have seen videos of people twitching the bars as the do it and wondered If it helped. I know like every thing it's a case of practise practise practise but just needed to know the basics.

Can anyone offer some advise or how to videos on turning on the spot (e.g turning 180 degrees) whilst hoping on the rear wheel. I can't for the life of me master it... Thanks!

I have a zoot and like it very much, I have never ridden a fourplay so can't compare, however I think the two can't really be compared the zoot is half the price of the fourplay and is built on a much lower budget. Most of the parts on the fourplay are far better quality. However the zoot is still alot of bike for your money. I have upgraded the brakes as well as a few other parts on my zoot and spent around £300 on upgrade parts, as much as I like the zoot I wish I just paid out the extra cash from day one and brought the fourplay!

I'm after a set of light knee pads that are comfy and easy to move in, nothing major just to stop light knocks from hitting knees on handle bars and scrapes from falling off etc. can anyone recommend any good ones...?

Thanks for the reply guys, i like mainly street for spins etc, I think the standard zoot stem is a short high rise about 100mm so maybe whats on there is ideal for me?? Might purchase one a little longer to see what it's like! "multi tasking" I see from your profile pic you into MX what bike you on there CRF150? CR85? (I see your only 15) I used to be well into MX, I can only afford 2 wheels with no engine now days....!

Hi, Im thinking of purchasing a new stem for my zoot 24". i was just after some information on whats the pros and cons for diffrent sizes..? the stem on the bike is short in length compared to that of a mod bike. When im hoping on the rear wheel i feel a little cramped up on the bike (as im 6ft tall) if i was to purchase a longer stem would this help..? would it cause dificulty doing other streety moves..? any one elso got a zoot and changed the stem? any info would be great. Dont really want to spend good money only to find no gain. Thanks

Oh... Sorry i didnt realise that. So is it advisable to oil it before fitting? I would imagine they are oiled from new..?

Hi all, I have just purchased a new Front Freewheel (Echo SL) now im sure i have read on here some where that people remove the grease from them and re lube with light oil or just spray regular with WD40/GT85, is it advisable to do this with a brand new freewheel? or shall i just save the hassle and bolt it straight on? Any help would be great...

Hi all, does anyone know if you can mount a hope mono mini front disc brake on a 2010 onza blade? In not sure if there are different brackets for disc brakes or how it work knowing what fits what? Any help would be great!

Thanks for the info! It's a Isis b/b and although provbably a cheapish one the bike is only 2 months old so I shouldn't think it would be that? When you say the chain slips do you mean the chain slips over the next tooth, is this possible? I'm confused.com

On my onza zoot 24" every now and then you will here a horid clunking noise coming from somewhere in the crank area. I have removed the bottom bracket and re fitted it all and it all seems very nice fit and smooth, the only area I can think it might be coming from is the front freewheel. It doesn't happen under load more when you load the pedals up ( start a pedal kick etc ...) then back the pressure off (by ratcheting the pedals backwards a little) anyone got any ideas what it could be? It's all working good and smooth but the noise is worrying!

Thanks for the info guys, very helpful. Do you know if it is possible to get a 24 x 2.1 maxxis holy roller tyre? (this will then match my rear) or any other makes..? Yeah i will keep an eye on the spokes and if the issue does not go away, new spokes might be the way forward. Can you advise on a decent spoke set to fit the standard rim and hub? i can build it myself this is not a problem..

Hi Guys, On my Zoot 24" the front tyre is a "24 x 1.85" my question is..... i would like to put a wider tyre on the front, what would be a sensible size tyre to go upto on the front and more importantly will a wider tyre be suitable for the current rim that comes with a 1.85 tyre on it? Also why i am on the subject of rims im having a problem with the spokes coming loose in the rear wheel... is this normal? i understand there is much more strain on the rear wheel of a trials bike than your average MTB but i have never had this issue with any other bike before.. Thanks in advance...

Thanks for your answers guys, it is the correct BB as it is the original from new. i did clean the threads but on reflection probably not as much as i should have? maybe i will clean in petrol/paraffin to remove all the grease before loctiting. Can anyone recommend the best loctite for the job (seems to be so many versions...) Also how tight should i be tightening, i use the special tool on the end of a 6" wrench and normal get to the point where it gets tight then give it a final "nip" maybe a little more..? Hi all, My onza zoot 24 bottom bracket shell (on the left hand side) keeps comming loose inside the frame housing, iv tried putting some locktite on the threads but had no luck. I only manage to ride for about an hour before i have to remove the pedal arm and re tighten the shell into the frame! Any ideas on how i can stop this loosening..? is this common? Cheers

Thanks for all the info, mixed opinions I see. Based on they all seem good ( and I'm no expert that will even notice the difference) I will probably just go for the hs33's iv also been told the hoses are a little easier to trim down and connect on the 05 33's not sure if true? Thanks again!

Hi Guys, Firstly sorry to bore you all with another HS33 question, i did a quick search but could not find the info i was after so here goes... Im looking to get some HS33's for my Onza Zoot 24" can anyone advise.. 1. Should i go for HS33 2005's or the new 2011? (price not really an issue as theres not much in it) Or even the HS11........ im confused.com 2. Is there any other option for brake adapters apart ffrom EVO 2's or are these good and upto the job? (they look a little flimsy in pics compared to some beefy V brake boosters..) 3. Whats the best pads for a non ground rim? Thanks in advance! Steve.

I was glade to see you think it will be easier doing rear wheel hops etc on a zoot than my dirt jump bike, I'm reasonably ok at basics on a bike ( can wheelie as far as I want etc..) but have been really struggling trying to rear wheel hop on the dirt jumper, hopefully I can master it on the zoot..?! Anyone know of best places (I.e price) to get a zoot? Thanks again!!

Hi Guys, Just getting into trials after mainly Dirt jumping/Downhill riding. Looking to purchase a Zoot 24" (dont really want an "out and out" trials bike as i like street riding to) does any one have one to give me some info on the below.. 1. Is it much harder to do trials tricks (rear wheel hops, kicks etc) on a 24" as apposed to a "true" trials bike? hopefully its easier than on a 26" dirt jumper..?? 2. what brake upgrade options would be good for the Zoot? i beleive i would need new hubs to put disc brakes on? 3. any other "needed" upgardes...? Also if anyone has a used Zoot for sale i would be very intrested, before i go out and pay full bucks for one! Thanks for the help, great forum by the way, loads of info!!
