Hi, I am wondering what surface my front heatsink yellows would be best on. It is a v brake and I am currently running them on a smooth rim. When I do front to backs, it sometimes holds but sometimes doesn't, also, it is terrible in the wet or if it gets dirt on it. I just don't know if a grind would be any better than a smooth, however, if a grind is better it could wear my pad down a lot quicker and I would like my pads to last quite a long period of time.
