  1. Theres a comp frame in the pipe line, gonna be triple butted and super light, fingers crossed, and if my maths is up to scratch, 1.1kg for the mod and 1.25kg for the stock. On paper it works, however in the workshop it varies.
  2. For example the main tube butts are as folows, 100mm @ 20swg down to 22swg over 300 mm back up to 20 swg over 100 mm with 75mm step up and step downs Hers some info on why i use high quality steel too :)http://reynoldstechnology.biz/assets/pdf/rtl_steel_alloys_extract.pdf
  3. They range depending on the riders preference, style of riding and weight. Sticking to double butted tubing keeps the weight reasonable and retains the strength. Im 85 kg and ride at things hard with zero signs of fatigue on the frame.
  4. Yeh sorry about the site, its havin a lot of work done on it, im cracking the whip on the designer ! Stock, mod and dirt Retail at £349. All materials are sourced in the UK 100% handmade inhouse in our nottingham workshop. Depending on customer needs we tailor the tubing to the rider, using a mix of Reynolds and T-45 steel with super hard bottom brackets, head tubes and dropouts they are frames that last longer than ability! Disk tabs can be added upon request After all, they are custom Thanks again guys. Oh and the mod frames range from 1.39-1.79kg Depending on brake and bash mounts.
  5. Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! Is it at brimham rocks on sunday? Ill have a pop over.
  6. Its dammmm stiff to! The rear brake is the best bit! Yes and yes, i have 2 sizes in all the models and also do custom models. Are you going to any events this year?
  7. Cheers dude. Frame weight is 1.69 kg and my full bikes running around 8.9kg if i recall. I want to get it on a diet though! Then again, its not bad at that, its the lightest bike iv ever had.
  8. And were finally there, design and testing done, just the final few little bits to sort. Sites on its way and shows to attend. What do we think?
  9. Personally i like the post mount, easier to set up, lighter and stiffer, ticks all the boxes. Im gonna try and get a frame under a kilo i think. Just done a 20" weighing in at a touch over 1.3kg with no extra machining or weight saving other than a head tube notch......and thats steel! Keep up the good work lads, love it!
  10. Let me know of anything i can do mate
  11. Now THAT bought back some memories mate! Need a catch up very soon.

  14. Cheers for the feedback guys, sorry about the images as yet, there will be better ones very soon. And yes its steel and very stiff, stiffer than a few of my past rides and Im not just saying that, gonna post some test vids when iv got a free afternoon to show how it holds up:) Iv been hammering it for the past few weeks and its taking the abuse well, even shakes off big bails at matlock quarry with no dints. Anything you would like to see from a frame that no ones doing? Thanks again lads, your feedback makes them better!
  15. More to follow, just giving you an idea of them More pictures to follow when iv got a little more time

  20. Its all about pistol in here!

  21. I got a kevlar one on my jump bike, works amazing. Fairly expensive for a cable though, well, cable outer.
  22. The bolt might be tightening onto the axel instead of the frame. Make sure the axel isn't sticking out past the frame
  23. Anyone riding? heading over about 11ish.
  24. Iv had this problem and NOTHING i tried fixed it. Stripped, new bearings, axel, seals, everything. The only way i could cure it was tightening the non drive side, followed by the drive side and not going too crazy with the 8mm Now its fine, tighten it however, i found it odd but give it a go mate
  25. Next week, possibly thursday or friday ill be heading over if anyones up for it. If any other day is better for anyone then mega mega!
