  1. great. ive just gone and ordered an onza isis bottom bracket.
  2. i think i need to get a helmet. ive only just started though so i havent actually tried anything yet im still trying to get my balance but when i get some money i think i know what im buying :L
  3. what are you trying to do with your photos because i couldnt upload photos using the uploader on the forum and i tried many different ways but i uploaded to photobucket and copied the code over to put pictures in a post and that worked fine for me.
  4. im gonna go with the 19" echo and get the bigger size ive now decided. thanks for everyone's help.
  5. yeah, that would be right because i was on my mate's brother's bmx and went up a cerb (excuse my spelling) and didnt try jump it or anything and i was going bretty fast and it burst and he werent too happy with me.:L i ride all my bikes on a low pressure mainly because i cba to pump them up but i prefer low pressure anyway
  6. ok then. am i more likely to get punctures with that though as it is a larger size?
  7. i saw that on there too but i was wondering if it would fit the tyre as it seemed so huge. also i havent even started riding yet so im expecting a fair few punctures :/ will that be ok with my size tyre?
  8. ahh ok. i have a slime tube for both front and back on my mountain bike so i know theyre good but i'd rather get one of the two listed above as i thought they'd be more suitable for trials as theyre heavy duty ones. il have a look and decide on the innertubes in a bit. thanks.
  9. i need a new inner tube for my rear tyre and ive been looking for what size i need and i saw that the tyre said 20" and i thought it would be 19" as its a back tyre but i was then told it says that its 20" but its 19" and so i understood that. i then went to get my 19" inner tube and i thought i needed 20 x 2.5 as thats what my tyre said but then i saw this: "Designed to fit up to 20" x 2.6" tyre size (but labelled as 20x2.125)" i then started to wonder what size i needed as i dont wanna buy the wrong size here are the two innertubes im considering between: Monty 19/20" Echo 19" i was also wondering if someone could tell me which one is better to go for if they have any experience with them. to sum this all up, what size inner tube will i need for my 20" x 2.5" rear tyre? thanks, Jake.
  10. alright thanks il do that next.
  11. it says it right at the start all of the riders.
  12. my chain snapped on my bmx and made a mess of my leg when the pedal came round and got me so i see where your coming from about that. where would the helicoil go then on the bike? (this is probably a really silly question that everyone knows but me but ah well im learning)
  13. im gonna hopefully get some ISIS cranks and BB and sort the stuff that needs sorting and then il worry about the other stuff like rear tyre and chain and that. also ive just bought a new front wheel for £20 which was in good condition so i dont think its a too bad buy. one more thing, whats a helicoil?
  14. oh yeah i meant to put that as well :L
  15. wow thats probably the best vid ive ever seen! mostly because ive never seen anyone do a backflip (or frontflip thanks CalopS) on a trials bike
  16. ahh thanks. i tried using flickr but that failed and then i tried as an attachment and that failed too. il do it now
  17. i got my first trials bike on tuesday and its an Onza T-Pro 2005 and i bought it for £100 which i was told werent too bad. originally i got it and first just checked the frame for dents and cracks to see what state it was in and it wasnt too bad and i guess i didnt do too bad with the money i spent but i still need to get a few new parts for it. The complete bike Not too bad frame Dodgy quick release front wheel My nice amount of tread
  18. ah i i didnt know that. i guess that makes things a fair bit easier.
  19. only problem with that is theyre less common which makes getting second hand parts harder.
  20. pretty much yeah im getting a complete new crankset as the left crank wobbled and destroyed the bottom bracket and the crank so i thought id replace the lot. i might go for the ISIS parts though but i know they are a little more expensive. are ISIS parts much better than square? and also what about 127mm? would that work? (sorry about all of the questions)
  21. can i fit 127.5 or not then? because thats the size ive found more often
  22. yeah go with his advice. also i ride 20" and im 6' 2" and i find it fine to ride.
  23. ive only just started and i got a bike tuesday. in general the smaller the bike the less expensive it will be as there is less material but really it depends on how you like to ride your bike in some ways as a 20" will be lighter and is easier to move around but some people prefer bigger bikes as they tend to be easier to control due to the wheel size. dont think everything im saying is right as i have only just started but from what ive heard and a bit of common sense i guess this makes sense.
