  1. Yeah I got that video off some shady recess of the internet Great mate, thanks for the help I'll do another video in a few months time and I hope I'll be much better by that time (it'll be a better video so no one gets pissed off at me)
  2. I’ll try that..I seem to have to pedal kick really hard to get on the back wheel and that throws my balance off..don’t know if I’m doing something wrong here Also when I get up I go back really fast so sometimes I miss the braking point and fall backwards About the jumping on the curbs I’ll have to look at the slow-mo to see what I’m doing wrong Thanks for the help ^^
  3. just to say that not always the dominant foot is the one that will be the one kep forward.
  4. Same for me It's hard to learn when you've got no one to watch
  5. How long have you been riding?
  6. I really don't think so but thanks anyway!
  7. Mmm I'll try and figure that out.. Put a better video together with some other riding, anyhow
  8. How would you brake and pedal on flat?
  9. I can get about 8 hops when I'm lucky I tend to mess up with the brake..if I hold it I hop sort of ok but when I let go of it to readjust the cranks I start messing up
  10. Hi all, I've been riding trials for just about a month so here I'm posting some (very bad) videos of how I'm doing..actually they're more for me to see myself from the outside but I'd really love some help on improving The garden is really small..not much space to do much in there.. Anyway here I'm trying out back wheel hops..might have got camera fright because I was doing better before I started filming.. Well..not really day one but first day I actually dedicated to working on them
  11. My natural forward foot is the right one but on a bike I can't ride if I'm not left foot forward
  12. I'm getting XT arms next week so at this point I'll just wait and see how it goes The arms now are utter shite..one's higher than the other, they have loads of play and when braking they move forward..
  13. Kill me..I used to live 5 minutes from there at Oval until 2 months ago.. Now I'm in Dublin alone
  14. great thanks! btw: sorry I just saw your text now! I was out trying to ride a bit of natural

Hi mate massive props for everything you do! Keep up the great work!

  17. pad toe still sucks..did like you told me, Ali At this point I think it might be the arms?
  18. I'm proud of it..instead of having a knee cap I have a knee CUP (C cup)
  19. *goes and tries it*
  20. Hi guys I just want to check if I'm doing something wrong. It seems I can't manage to set the toe of the pads properly..I pull the brake lever to get the pads tight against the rim and tighten them; then when I release the lever the pads drag towards the front (the direction the wheel's turning) I read of a method of putting rubber bands on the pads to help set the toe but it said to put the bands on the back of the bads..that would just make the toe even less favoureable Any ideas there? I'm getting rid of the shitty tektro arms..a pair of shimano xt is on their way But I want to know if I'm doing something wrong setting them up Should I bet setting the bads closing the brake arms by hand and not by pulling the lever?
  21. Just three weeks ago Can't really see how swollen it was in the photos
  22. If you've got a 22 chainring on the front you'll need a 16 tooth sproket on the back to achieve a gearing ratio of about 1,4 It's a pleasure to help anyway! ^^ There is now problem with the original hub, it's a freehub so the freewheel (not a very good one alas..) is built into it..you just get rid of the original cassette and then throw the spacers and the sproket on and close it using a lockring tool. If you want some more photos of my setup just tell me, if you want to see something particular to understand how it needs to be fit I-ll be happy to post them this evening
