  1. Alrite mate, you could either use 2 10mm spacers underneath the stem or a 10mm and a 5mm below the stem and then a 5mm between the stem and topcap. Both should work, however it would look neater with the spacers below the stem.

Just what I wanted to hear, Cheers Jonny!

  2. I'm still a little confused, I want to use the full length steerer on the Trialtech forks? How many spacers do I need if -

Onza Comp Frame - Headtube length - 110mm

Trialtech Disc Only - Steerer length - 199/200mm

FSA Orbit Equipe Headset - Stack height - 25mm

    Stem Clamp Height - 50mm

    Thanks.

  3. As above.

If the total combined stack height is equal to the length of the steerer, the topcap'll bottom out on the top of the steerer and won't be able to squeeze everything together. Try it - measurements might not be quite accurate/etc, but I'd imagine you'll need another spacer (just put it on top of the stem if you know what you said is exactly what you want).

Frame, fork and headset are all standard fit 1.1/8", so will work fine (if that's what you meant? I'm a little unsure).

Yes I just needed to confirm it, haha. So I need say a 5mm spacer between the top cap and stem clamp? I can't try it just yet as I haven't purchased any of the above.

  4. So all this adds up correctly right?

Onza Comp Frame - Headtube length - 110mm

Trialtech Disc Only - Steerer length - 199/200mm

FSA Orbit Equipe Headset - Stack height - 25mm

    Headset Spacers - 1 x 10mm, 1 x 5mm

    Stem Clamp Height - 50mm

But the real question is should I have a problem with the headset/fork/frame combination?

If all is swell I just have to wait for the 10% discount being the cheapskate I am!

    Thanks.

  5. Ahh, idk, I hope so, anyway yeah, it will probably be later than the 5-8 days stated purely because of Christmas/New Year. And yes, I thilnk its the same guy, also on OTN - user name Sheldon, again most likely the same guy, will report with pictures/condition when they arrive :D

  6. $209 or £129 For the goods.

    $33 or £20 For postage.

Which is price, but I guess it works out cheaper overall.

On the site it says, he doesn't have SL freewheels, he said he has them in stock and is sending me one of them but don't know if he will send me a TR, hopefully not!

He also said for emails - sheldontrials@hotmail.com

Obviously postage should vary for weight/size ect..

  7. Okay, I hadnt gotten any email from him so decided to inbox him on faceyb.

We discussed a price on cranks, freewheel, bashring and pedals, posted it comes to around £150.

He said that there is a small chance on a import tax but it won't be that much, around £20.

The items I have bought should be with me shorty, 5-8 days from Monday.

He also said that he would fit them correctly before sending them out to save me the hassle!

    So far so good.

  8. I ordered a few christmas presents the other day, got them delivered to a local Tesco just opened one of them then, candle with a plate holder sort of thing - (http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-square-candle-holder/209-8740.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=212-0301) The plate is broken no bubble wrap at all! Everything else was wrapped fine but come to a delicate item and yeah, its not like it happened on the way home either, it definitely inst my fault, there about to get a call now :ermm:

EDIT - All sorted now, just need to wait for it to be delivered now, simples :)

  9. Hi i have bought a lot of stuff of them they are legit, I got my new cranks of him that come today (Sheldon Walker) is on facebook here http://www.facebook.com/sheldon.walker.397?fref=ts

They have a lot more stuff in stock than they have on the site if there something you want half the time he can get it in for you, the postage it pretty good to i got 2 echo lite one 2012 an one 2013 one both for £280 + £20 postage :D but when i got them i got a import tax fee of £40 and they had been bashed about a bit in the post and one had a small dent in, got back in touch with he and he gave me a £100 back to cover the fee and damages :D

He packs then up a lot more now to

    Hope this helps

    Jamie

Cheers Jamie, how long did postage take about?

Nice that he sent money back over, even if the part was damaged anyway.

keep the 20 ;) just put discs on it..

...Maybe, I need a new crank set, which is what I have emailed him about :P

  10. Just to get started I am not advertising?!

First of all is it legit/real - I'm not going to get some second hand slightly used bike am I?

I'm thinking about a 24", yes the bandwagon Echo 24" but don't want to waste £500 odd?

What is the postage like, is there any hidden costs, import tax ect ect?

Thats all I have to ask for now..

    Linky

Yes some people will say just but from someone I can trust ect, but it would be nice to see what other shops I/and people of TF can order form.

    Cheers
