  1. Chicken chop suey goes down nicely the morning after, as do meat feast pizzas. Donner kebabs are :) though.
  2. Yeah, it's a EX 721/ D521 whatever ceramic rim, and they seemed to have knocked the price up to £64.99 on crc, that's half the cost of the wheel gone on the rim alone....
  3. My mate had one for a while, bought it from halfords on a vuelta rim for £7.83 I think it was. Never ever skipped on him, yet as soon as i got on it, it skipped :"> . They seem to be a canny hub for the money though (Y)
  4. I think they're the ritchey wcs truegrips from wiggle.
  5. Rise Against - 1000 good intentions
  6. :P  quality vid (Y) http://www.unrealhp.com/media/index2.htm If you go down to the cat's clips video, it's quite funny.
  7. Nah you won't be able to run an acs on an xc, and you would need a new hub which has a place for the freewheel to screw onto. A hub with mtb(135mm) spacing with this facility is the dmr revolver single speed hub, available from chainreaction. Hope it was of some help (Y)
  8. To my knowledge, there's no freewheels in that price range. Its jumps from £11ish for an acs claw upto £80ish for a white industries trials freewheel. There is another white industries freewheel, which has 1/2 the engagements of the trials model, giving it the same EP as an acs claw, and runs off four pawls, whereas the trials one runs off six. I'm not sure about the price of this, but it is available from the coust site ( I think).
  9. It's all to do with gear ratios. As the eno is on the front, you get the 72 engagement points. Whereas if you run a profile on the rear with the standard 18:12 gear ratio, you will get 72 effective engagement points, as you multiply the engagement points by the ratio. 48*1.5 = 72 :P
  10. Nah kieron mate, that's Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Me and some of my mates have been trying to get a trials spot round here since about November 2003. We have attended god knows how many meetings concerning the area and what could be done to improve fitness in the area, council meetings for our village community, and held meetings every week to talk to someone who offered to show us which way to go about hopefully getting an area in the region. He, however, doesn't seem to be bothered anymore, and has stopped showing up for the meetings, so it's all kind of fizzled out. This is just to give you an Idea of the time scale, it isn't a short term type of thing.
  11. As long as the steerer tube size matches up with the headtube size ( 1 1/8") it should be fine (Y), although they may knock the geometry off and make it feel sketch, or put extra stress on places, as you will find a lot of frames are made to suit a fork witha cetain amount of travel.
  12. Yeah mate it fits, colly has that setup and it's fine for him (Y)
  13. Doesn't tunni work in a psychiatric ward in a hospital? I was positive I read that he did in MBUK...

    Trials Crew

Nah it was monty. Ot Pi's dad (Pedro Pi) was high director and rider in montessa, and decided to design a push bike for his son, and called this little brand of bikes monty. Nice site anyhows mate :- nice and simple.
  18. Well I don't run ISIS but I've heard a few good reports about the FSA platinum pro downhill, think its around £28 from most shops.
  19. It's tapered. If you look underneath the description bit it says picture shown is not actual item, or summat along those lines :D
  20. :D :P :) :) ^^^^ definitely one o' them over a skoda like.
  21. I've got prescription eye drops, nasal spray and one a day neoclarityn tablets. If I take all of them they seem to work prety well. Also if you change your shirt through the day that helps, as the pollen doesn't just keep collecting, and closing your window on a night helps loads, although it makes the heat a bit unbearable when the weather's like this.
  22. When I was typing mine N.Wood must have done it just before me...and yeah pardon my retardedness :">
  23. (Y)" lol. Nice looking hub Pete (N)
  24. Yeah this is still on-going, we're still going to our meetings, and have been accepted onto our village community partnership :) , which has some money locked away that needs to be used on recreational activities, and they think that this might be a good Idea. Progress at the moment though is pretty slow. We have started doing demos here and there to raise awareness of trials in the area, and have a big demo on Sunday 12th June, as a part of a men's health week event. So yeah, this thing is still on-going :P
