Had no idea how high it was until I measured it today (I know I know, Tape measure warrior 4 LYF) and its 51"

Managed to go over it last weekend, but only managed to get the sidehop a few times today. Tried going up to front on it too,

    soooo close. Anyway voila;

  3. The change in bike weight and geo is great because it allows us to go even bigger or higher. If you prefer a heavy bike just stick with it, but lightweight bikes/parts is the future.

Don't slag off TGS riding just because you don't like it, it involves much more skill than being able to jump high or far.

I ride in an area which has mostly walls and stuff so TGS is great fun.

  4. Keep at the green sections, try to set yourself targets for each section and don't let dabs knock your confidence.

Riding white sections will not improve your riding as much as sticking to the harder stuff.

I find when you try to enjoy yourself more than thinking about mistakes you can ride alot better.

  5. I am using a rockman 150x30 with 10mm of spacers on my echo 24" and it feels great for most things.

When i first got the echo i was using a tatybikes 165x35 without spacers. I am 5ft 11 and It felt like i was streching for the bars to much, so i gave the 150x30 a try with 10mm of spacers to acheive almost the same height but less reach and my riding improved rapidly.

  6. If there wasn't such a thing as talent, everybody who trains hard at something would eventually reach the same level.

e.g Emile Heskey training as much as messi dosen't make him as good.

It just dosen't work like that !!!

  7. Acutally my bike is an Echo 24". Rides lovely but I don't trust Magura brakes enough to make progress in my riding. I prefer big wheels but I'd happily trade that for a more dependable rear brake.

Obviously your magura's are not set up correctly if you cannot trust them,

if you set them up square with a decent grind and pads there is nothing better in my opinion.

  8. Braking is superb. Pads havent even fully bedded in yet.

I like to think Im quite smooth, whether I am or not Im not sure. I usually ask others if I am haha.

I cant see the strength of the rim being a problem at all.

I'll look at what my options are regarding stems, not massively fussed on brand etc.. so long as its black.

Sounds like a great rim, i might stick with the viz now, but i am still curious of the because rim.
