righto who's up for a liverpool street ride two weeks today? sunday the 24th. meet at lime street at 11am and then re meet for late comers at pier head at 12? i'll check trains etc later but lets make it a big one :unsure:

i don't want to go later than the 9th+10th july because we're starting to get close to the second round of the nationals. i'll go check biketrial calendar and see what weekend would be best, possibly the 2nd/3rd july freeridetrials_club on my log in (again)

yeah i've also got quite a quick slow in my rear tyre and it takes a good 45minutes to get the tyre off, change the tube and get the b*****d tyre back on. i need to get a new rim cos this ones impossible to change tyres on... also if the werathers crap i'm going to stay at home and do college work poss see u tommorrow

no a bit of rubber won't change anything but with an attitude like that nothing will change! its all about awareness and the wrist bands create conversations (like this) that help to raise awareness. awareness and education are the only way to make change, ignorance only shows stupidity and a fear of learning!

livestrongs are definately made by nike i've got an anti bullying one because i got bullied for 4 years in high school and a pale blue cultivepeace one because there is too much hate and war in the world and if everyone was a little more careing the world would be abetter place :D i plan to get an anti racism one because i believe racism is the basis of most hate in the world and if eveyone treated eveyone else as an indvidual we would all be alot happier.

its a funny subject, i met a guy last summer who was in a wheel chair and he told me that between him and his other 'disabled' mates they call each other crip (short for cripple) but if a 'non disabled' person were to say it it wouldn't be right. at the same time though he said why is he refered to as disabled, he still does everything he wants and has a better life than 95% of the human population, just cos he's in a chair he doesn't see he's disadvantaged and feels being refered to as disabled is unkind. i also met a black lad a few years back who said when 'white' people refer to him as coloured he hates thm for it, he's not coloured he's black and stays black. its us 'whities' that are coloured, we're pink normally, white when cold, blue when very cold, grey when stoned, green when ill and red when sun burned, he's just black! oh yeah and 90% of politcal correctness is bollocks!!!

i dont live there but know of an amazing jump spot. if you go up the hill to NENE uni (northampton university) just before you get to it go left onto the waste land/old golf course and head down to the bottom where there is an AMAZING dirt jump/play area. it was there last time i was down and absiloutely rocked!!!

if you've broke your scaphoid DON'T ride your bike, i broke mine and it wasn't until they took the cast off they told me that if you re injure it whilst its healing you can cut off the blood supply to it and the bone will die, if that happens you will lose all use of the wrist and possibly lose some of the bones around it too! its not worth the risk, dont do it!!!

hmmm how long til someone buys it and then shacks the lot? i'm not condoning it but i can see it coming

i've had no reply either, i'm guessing wally on here is the guy who runs rimjam because he said he'd like to see the pad so if it is him i'm going to post them back to him and see what happens. i don't trust the other one anymore either and i've gone back to black pads on a grind which works nearly as well and far more trustworthy atm...

sod off. i've never had a brake pad fall apart on me before, if i'd known i'd never have bought them. if pads are made for the job they shouldn't fall apart, i don't do big harsh moves and i don't expect parts to fall apart! almost everyone else has made useful coments but you have to be a tit :lol:
