  11. yeah lol! im pretty sure chris jay nathan maybe steve dobbs if hes fixed his bike yet, would all come out, but maybe make it a evening ride instead
  12. 14m = 18-19? mm right, i did work it out somewhere and ether 18,19 was the best size? when i was going to get a lever built, me and don't you just hate it when... worked it out! but it was going to cost to much
  13. would it just be from colchester to sheringham? I? or is it a different train station? kk cheers ads ill give matt a call and sort it out? is he staying or not? he better be! actually ads pm me ur number! so i can give you a call! i can't be bothered to sort it out over T-F
  14. would anyone be able to give me a lift?!? i could get to pretty much any train station, but i'd be proper up for this also i'd be coming from colchester train station!?!? dunno if that helps
  15. 1st off, it wouldn't work with a bmx lever, because they don't pull as much as mountain bike lever, plus if i was going to go double discs i'd need a new frame etc, which seems a waste of money atm as i just got this mint adamant and no one seems to want to swap , but it could get it working with a normal avid lever i would just extend the lever, and use the cable spliiter that i posted up earlier. because if i use double disc, it would be twice as stiff to pull as a normal brake, so i'd have to double the lever power to double the strength! see the big problem here is that i'm going to need new wheel sets and a new frame which all costs money that i haven't got atm! a magura piston is 12-13mm, if you double the diameter it will become 19mm, so this 18mm lever should work just as well as one magura lever on one brake(doubleing the lever size for 2 brakes) , of course the lever has also been extended if you look, so this should in theory work just as well as the normal magura! as the diameter is twice as big it will be pushing twice the amount of water per square inch! i've ordered the lever, so if this doesn't work then ill try double cable discs , if someone could explain better what im trying to explain then please do
  16. noo the rest of the lever is alot bigger!
  17. adam at tartybikes found this beauty for me!linky! Hopefully it will work!!
  18. what about one of these jobbys! linky! would i be able to get this to work on a avid lever? then just extend the lever?
  19. yeah man just started a topic under trials chat, check it out!
  20. Hello guys, after the dilemma with my braking system never working, and use hydraulic isn't working, I'm deciding to give duel disc's ago, I've been looking at these Odyssey M2 levers, but to run 2 brake off one lever, I'm going to have to extend the lever so there is more power! also i don't understand the difference in cables! and why in my other topic he said about getting the road BB7? also because I've got a adamant A3 I'm going to have to build or buy a disc adapter, I believe I've seen them selling somewhere, but i can't remember! any help would be appreciated! thanks Luke
  21. cheers dude, yeah it works just like 2 normal brakes but index on one and middle on the other. but i can't really hold it very well like that, which is why if u look on the pictures im just holding the front brake with the index, then having to switch it to back as i swapped!
  22. very funny JT, i can wheelswap kind of, but when its like that im having to swap levers with the same finger, because i have got enough power in the last to fingers holding on to hold on tight enough, but on a piece of wood etc curb hight i can wheelswap when having the levers covered by both fingers!
  23. looked a mint ride, shame i missed it
  24. yeah what callum said pretty much lol! its pretty much just gotta have a bigger master piston and a longer lever for it to work!
