  1. Looking great , one of these has been my main playbike for like 8 years . Where on earth did you find yours ? My current (3rd) one is showing it's age so I'd love to get another prepped and painted for when the inevitable happens .Oh the endless ,effortless manuals -so playful and obedient .

  2. Do you mean to protect against damage in transit or theft at location ? I''ll be flying out with my XC'er to Mallorca next week and am pretty much gonna go uninsured on both counts . By carefully packaging the bike it should arrive intact / unmolested and once there ,I''m none too concerned with theft as I'll treat it like I do here- always under my arse or safely in my room .

Perhaps I'm a naive optimist though ,so I'll be watching this topic for advice .

  3. It's rare and enjoyable to be able to discern a rider's thought process from just watching his style . Deliberate ,planned lines pulled smoothly by a talented rider enjoying himself - very inspirational to watch and your own misgivings will probably result in increasingly neat riding .

Also for me and presumably many others who live in areas devoid of other riders , videos like these are more meaningful than just an interesting distraction - it's aspirational . I can't imagine seeing riding like this in real life , but it sure as Hell makes me wanna emulate it . So , uh - thanks !

    :)

  4. Kinda late to the party but you fellas were in Rotterdam (semi) recently ? I live in self imposed exile from the U.K in a wasteland devoid of a trials / street scene where everyone rides functional 50's era bikes but if you actually play with your bike or appear to be having fun you're the village idiot . All that and I missed you guys bein' pretty much around the corner ? Well goshdarnit !

Probably for the best as I'm a woefully inept rider and seein' you guys ride would crush what remainig confidence in my skills I still retain .

  5. ... a maual hop up a wall onto his back wheel...

You must mean " doing a Marco Grosenick ." I guess once accustomed to a 24" or 26" it'd be equally easy but coming from a mod ,the 24" is probably gonna feel more familiar . For what it's worth they work just fine on my (streety ) stock .
