Nice. Good to see some pictures up so quickly after the ride... I think there were a few more riders that had moved on by th etime we took the picture, plus some other riders over by the bridge behind the square... Plus some riders didn't arrive till later in the day.. Anyways.. Thanks to all for turning out; I hope everyone enjoyed the ride as much as I did. If anyone is thinking of selling a bike, or bike bits towards the end of June/ July, let me know.. I am so up for getting another bike now.. Just ned to decide between a Mod or 24" or 26"

Now I want another trials bike! Do I go for a mod, and protect my back, or should I get another 26" or a 24"????? Ok, I need people to send me pictures from the ride, and any funny things / high-lites of the day and anything else like that as i'm writing the article tonight....... Hi all A huge thank you to everyone tht turned up, and I hope to see you all again some time soon.... I will now be building up a bike of some sort.. I really enjoyed riding Ben's mod until he snapped his crank arm Maybe mod, maybe not.. Anyways, the party wasn't a major success, but Mr Prawn and bigman and co had us laughing for a few hours, with Ben being a tramp and Mr Prawn Mega-spinning his head into oblivion.. I'm writing an artticle for MBUK (yeah I know) at the moment, and when it comes out i'll be posting most of it on here or linking to it or summit... Hahahahaha How long has this ride been up n posted? Ben, you're a dumb-arse. Ok... It's looking ok here at the moment.. Sunny, warm and i'm hung-over from last nights gig. Great start to the weekend. Anyways. Should anyone need anything, my number is 07851209257. I will have my phone with me at all times, and will hopefully hear it as I won't be riding much due to not having ridden in that last year.. I will hold the 2 minutes silence on the Sunday as that's the day Deej left us; just to keep that clear. I don't want people complaining that I didn't do it right an all that... So, if you're not riding, we'll say 12 mid-day on Sunday the 14th May. Two minutes silence for Deej. Owned! So, if anyone is up for meetin up tonight (Friday) i'm workin til 11 pm, but after that Ben n I will probably be havin a few drinks with Mr Mike D and anyone else who I can grab off the streets... If not, I shall see you all tomorrow at 11 am in Portsmouth's Guildhall square. And don't be a pussy about the weather, if it's too bad we'll just start the party early.

I think that sounds like a good idea. One word of warning to those younger than 18 though; The fuzz have been flying around spotting teenagers drinking, and have been handing out fine's (£80 I believe) to those under age. I am not saying don't drink if you're under the legal age, I'm just gonna say that I won't be taking any responsibility for anyone getting 'Fuzz' attention by drinking under age and then acting a twat. Ok, class dis-missed. BTW 'Reckon' No gold star for you today. Hahahahaha Jon.

Hi... The general overview of this ride is.... May 13th, meeting in Guildhall square at 11 am, then depending on how many people are riding, we'll either split into groups and ride the places around Pompey, or we'll stay in one group and ride like last year. Hopefully the ride will come to an end down by the beach / Pyramids as usual, where we can hit the beach and get as much Beer juice or your chosen beverages as you will need for the evening... I think the beach is a safe place to have the party as we can make as much noise as possible and have no complaints from neighbours or housemates as my housemates may not be up for a fair few riders crashing around the place a bit bladdered.. Shame I know, but I can't really do anything about it. Depending on how many people are partying, and the way we all feel, we can maybe make a move back to mine when the party slims down.. Unless anyone wants to donate a house for the party. I am sure we can make a night of it regardless of location anyways.. Jon.

Sounds like a plan to me... I'm gonna be bloody skint for this ride, so it looks like i'll be on my BMX unless I manage to pull something out of a hat. I've got my old Club roost frame, and a few bits like stem, bars, a magura HS11 (Minus brake booster..) saddle, post etc.. but no cranks, forx or any decent brake set up. So.. less than a month! Now if people can list their names for the ride, and the second, list names for the party and ride. Good marnin'! Well, that sounds promising.... The ride, and party are now moved to the Saturday in order that the whole thing is to run smoothly for those that have work etc.... Morning all. Ok, swiftly moving on, like the winds across some desert island after a nuclear attack..... I think the party should be on the Saturday night in order that everyone can enjoy the ride / party... But, in the interest of keeping this day in the memory of Deej, I feel a few of us may well want to ride the Sunday; even if it is only for a short while..... So....................................................... Now I need to know; 1/ How many people are gonna be coming down for the party and ride, and how many of you need places to crash... and I mean a place that you can literally curl into the corner following a few chosen beers / spirits, and rest your weary little eyes til you awaken with a hangover in the morning and I start kicking people out. 2/ I also need to know whom, if any of you, will be coming down the day before the ride. Cool; Looks like we may have ourselves a little bit of a do on the go here... I've mailed Mr Ashton abbout the ride, and he seems interested. So... Its all go on the Portsmouth front. The original idea is to have the main party on the Sunday night after the ride; but then people may have work in the morning etc. The Saturday evening party is just for those that wanna come down the night before and have a good laugh. I am giving this careful consideration mind... and I am thinking of moving the main ride to the Saturday, have the party, then on the Sunday... Have the memorial ride for Deej, which could maybe be a smaller group of people who wish to ride on that day. I'll have a think over a beer, and see what kinda responce I get from you guys. Jon.

Hi guys. Great to see such a responce so soon. Lets get this one sorted.. Last year was a storm! The garage developed a lack of the DJ after 30 minutes or so cause he didn't realise it was a bikers ball kinda party. (Fool!) So a few of you nutters ended up on top of the thin wall across the front of the garage roof, and dropped onto the fridge that someone found up the alleyway. Genius! Then Lee's car got rode on, and I remember the headlight falling out. Then there was the incident with the hair clippers... Still don't know who used them to shave that poor lads head.. The riding was top notch too! I don't think I have seen better riding since, or before that day, so I guess a lot of us were up for it despite the beers the night before..... Lets have a better one this year, and lets really get into the party spirit. I'm damn sure Deej would have wanted us to have a great time. Lets not let him down. Come on... Keep the names pouring in! Hi all. I haven't been around for bloody ages due to work commitments, and my music.. But I shall return with a big ol' bang. I'm in the middle of getting myself a bike again, and building it up, so I'll be out riding like a possesed man as soon as the bike is built. Anyways, onto the ride. Last year I managed to get over 70 riders in one place, at one time.. and this year i'd like to get some of you back down here to remember the rider. DJ. You all must of heard of him, and many of you have met him. Lets not forget him, and show our thoughts on that desperate day, by getting together and riding Portsmouth. I am gonna arrange a party, as ever, on the Saturday evening Prior to the big ride, and possibly one on the Sunday night for those of you that are brave enough. (Or don't have work in the morning. ) I am proposing an 11 o'clock meet in Guildhall square, and then onto the various destinations across the town. Perhaps splitting into three groups that will liase back at the pyramids by a certain time, then onto the party. The Saturday i'll arrange closer to the date when I know roughly how many people will be attending. So... Come on guys and girlies... who's coming? And NO-ONE MENTION BAD WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!

They have trials and off road trips, rides and organised events. Check them out at the freshers fair... Hi all. I've been away for bloody ages! Sorry.... I'm up for coming out on the ride, although I won't be able to do anything. (Nothing unusual there.) as my Hope is still in need of a full re-build. I'll be sending it off next week, so this is a good time to get out and finish off all the pawls in the rear wheel. :P Is the ride starting at 9 then? The weather is going to be better on the Wednesday, but it should be ok for the Tuesday too. (Y) Are you gonna be riding all day? Cause I may have a late night planned for Monday... I'm getting big into my guitar now, so I am meant to be singing on Tuseday evening if anyone fancies a beer after the ride?
