Hi all. I haven't been out much (As has been made very obvious in my other topic. :angry:) So I may as well come out on this ride. :angry: Who's riding? Jon. :angry:

Right, now onto the ride and after party... Ok, I understand that a load of you are coming down by car, so I would like to suggest parking at my place, or very near here as it is only about 5 mins ride from the meeting place of the main ride, and the party afterwards is gonna be here, so it all just seems to make sense to me.... Right, now that that is sorted out, lets move on to a new subject, and one that will make some of you happy... :) I have managed to arrange a DJ and sound system for the party. The guy is saying that he has a 40K sound system, so its all looking rather funky. Its the Huge building that we rode at when we first got into London when we built my MAD... You must remember, it started raining when we got there, it had the sorta weird wavy metal (Bent) poles on top of the lowish walls... Its a massive white building.. :unsure:

Nearly a month now... I guess a headcount should be done as to who is coming to the ride and who is coming to the after party... After-all, it's only 6 weeks odd away now. :o :S Jon

Nice to see some people coming from afar for this ride. :D I have spoken to a few off-duty police officers, and they have said to just go ahead with the ride and NOT actually tell anyone. :D I know it sounds crazy due to the numbers of riders that are gonna be out on the day; But hey.... I was told the way to do it would be to just keep a tight lead on the riders that turn up, and try to be as polite to passers by as possible, which I know we all do on these rides anyways. (N)" So, lads and lasses, by all means come, enjoy the day, but please, NO trouble! I am sure I am not alone when I say that we can enjoy a days riding without anyone getting nicked. :P So, let the ride commence and lets all have a good ride, obeying the laws and respecting the people that are sure to stop and watch. :P

Hey guys, sorry I couldn't make it. I was dying of this bloody man flu! It's nearly killed me! Typical really, I am nearly healed from my bust ribs too! :) Next time I will make more effort. :)

Cool.\ just a thought, but if anone else needs stuff ferriying from castle cary to the site, I am gonna be taking my car, and don't mind running around to get people / bikes and stuff from the station to the show. Not a problem. I have a bikerack and not too much clutter in the car. :) Shout me on msn, or pm me nearer the date. Also, is anyone doing the 'Run to the sun" festival this year? I am gonna crank it down there for a cool weekend, prolly do a bit of surfing in the mix too. :)

Well, I will be there with my brother and a fair few of his mates, plus I am aiming to bring a fair few of my mates form down here too. :- Looking forward to it big stylee now!

Cool, what are you gonna study here? Uni life here is pretty cool, loads of things to do, and I am the treasurer of the uni mountainbike club, its pretty cool too. We ride ever wednesday, and sunday, and the riding here is pretty cool too. (Y)
