I put the freewheel from the wheel straight to the crank and put a 12 sprocket on the wheel, nothing else

It was the freewheel that came with the bike, it ticked a few times before it broke but I thought it was the pedals cos they always tick, them i tried again then SNAP

On my onza bird i upgraded the chainset to an 18- 12 front freewheel and after about 4 days my freewheel broke. Can anyone suggest anything that i could have done wrong?

I just changed from 24-18 to 18-12 on my onza bird. before i did this i asked about it on the forum. they said it would be harder to pedal. so i was surprised when it was easier to pedal. so could i have made a mistake or something?

I agree with danny the onza porcipaws are terrible. They tore my hands apart

i made up a way to gap, both wheels on the ground pedal kick and do the same kind of movements as a sidehop except go for distance rather than height, i practiced this. and then i decided to measure how far i could get and i got to a distance of 63.5 inches and i coveted to feet and it turned out to be 5ft. I started trials 3 months ago so i am delighted.

I just ordered an 12 T echo TR sprocket

does anybody know if you can put the freewheel on the hub, straight onto the crank on the onza bird

do i need one of those chain-breaker things?

If i go to 18-12 do i have to get a new chain?

I think i'm going to try greasing them, apart from the ticking, i like them, they are VERY grippy.

I rode BMX for one year and used plastic pedals, they were sound. Started trials 2 months ago on my onza bird 2013. After a month the bearing in the caged pedals started ticking. I had a small budget so i went for V8s and after a month the bearing in the right pedal started ticking, a 3 weeks later the left one started ticking and the right one ticking more and its getting worse.

I looked at this site and it says they don't deliver to Ireland

Is there any shop, other than tarty bikes, where you can buy trials bikes and components that deliver to Ireland.

Thanks for the help, im improving slightly. I found my problem was that I wasn't putting power in the last pedal but i still would like some tips on how to get more height please.

I am having trouble with pedal ups. I start pedaling and lifting the wheel. I get the bike in the air, but it is just like a normal bunny hop. I land with both wheels on the ground at the same time and I get about like a foot high. I watched videos but they give little help. Advice please.
