whats the weather been like for everyone recently? seems to be getting better here, (hertfordshire), the suns finally out and i can feel the heat! i wish my freewheel werent knackered! what about everyone else?

near the town and surrounds theres two stations in hertford, hertford north, the one you'd be going to if you came from enfield. theres also hertford east. there both on opposite ends of the town. i used to live in enfield when i was a kid, near gordon hill train station, i think :- quite near the town. is the riding there any good?

Hi there. The FSB on the XP 1600s is 266, i think, so as long as you buy any DDR Memory with a FSB speed of 266 (PC2100), you should be ok. Find out if what youve allready is buffered or unbuffered, and get a stick that matches what youve already got. Just make sure your motherboard supports the amount of memory you are buying. Also if your running Win98, it wont support any more than 512MB RAM, unless you do some registry editing... Crucial is good! Also ebuyer is a great site!

Hi there Any memory that is DDR 2700, unbuffered, NON-ECC will do according to the link you gave us to the crucial website. I recommend corsair memory, but there a bit more expensive, Crucial are slightly cheaper, just as good performance. Crucial Memory Ebuyer is a good site, i buy all my stuff from there (Y) I see you have 512MB of RAM according to the crucial website. Do you really need any more memory? i would think that 512 would do, maybe a bit more if your doing some video editing.

Athlon 64's over any other thing, in my opinion, much better than Intel. Can you think of the amount of programs you'd have to have open to use 3 gigs of ram? Lots... The Spec that Stav said will be very fast and run any game. If youve got the money, get a Serial ATA drive, you wont get anything faster without going into RAID. while im here, anyone interested in a Athlon - Mobile, 2400+?

im looking for a free place to host my website, i made it using frontpage but just need a halfdecent place to upload it. free webs is too slow, and otherplaces just hav too many popups. i dnt mind some, like a banner, but its the popups that are problems. any suggestions?

im with some company called pipex, Pipex, 512 service, no limits, im allways connected and ive never been disconnected/ connection dropped for any reason, downloading videos etc i get a gd steady speed of 60kb/s sharing it with 2 other pcs, its fine, id recomend it :D

dot tk is only a forwarding service, someone i know has his own server, uses dot.tk so he doesn't have to pay for a domain name, or have his own dns server...

jus thinking that looking at another post, im off to go buy a chainring... it could be difficult finding a 20tooth, halfords wont have one and i dont think my lbs will either...

ive jus got a new cassette and chain (sram pc58, 8 sp) fitted it all, and when i go to ride away the chain seems to stick too the chainring, and trys follow it round again, so it jamms up. any ideas how to sort this? thanks
