Used frames + saw + caliper (+ brain + FEA workstation for figuring out reasons of design choices) is the way to go.
For a frame with competitive weight, strength and cost properties,
assume 2000-3000 hours to bring a limited run to Tarty, if you have an
engineering background, but haven't done this before.

Not sure what to make of this, couldn't work out if this was something Russell Brand was actively involved in, or something he simply saw happening and put his face to.
Seeing a few interviews with protesters, some seem to be level-headed and want a fairer democracy and to be better represented. But after watching the videos of the rioters, I think a small fraction of them stand for something and the great majority joined in either to be part of a 'super cool anonymous 4 chan takeover' or to 'give it back to police' being aggressive and violent which completely devalues their protest imo.
There are "capitalists" who act violently (search for Vajont, Melamine, Asbestos, Hartz or whatever, there are so many examples) not just in one situation,
but because of their attitude towards life itself.

I have left Paypal for their shady terms of service.

Owned by Carles Diaz, twice a vice world champion, AMG's current minder, big man in the comp scene, left to Benito:

No Sir, I wouldn't, he's way too thin for my tastes.

Lots of info & pictures on the GT proto frame in the related article: http://tribalzine.com/?Le-Wingman-Kenny-Belaey-au-micro

If the Racing Line parts were made by the Pope himself and sold for $$$, and these were just $30, I'd understand this.
But copying a chinese brake, with great attention to detail? Where do they want to produce it? Zimbabwe?
Or is it just a rebrand, licensed by Racing Line (for what reasoning)?
I am puzzled.

better pedal offset, means your standing more central over the bike.
Just to clarify:
It is not that the bottom bracket tube was moved sideways.
They just extended it a lot on the left side for additional axle stiffness,
because normally there is just a spacer on the axle for crank symmetry.
-
Maniacc Dblocks would approve this.

The lever is in so many ways similar or identical to the Racing Line levers,
even in the milling surface finish and the branding looks, that I really think
they went to Taipei, upgraded the CAD drawings in cooperation,
to make the original Racing Line lever a little bit lighter, more comfortable and usable.
Anyway, anyone want to guess / smartass about the purpose of the lower protrusion on the slaves?

This really looks like a RL cooperation..

Thanks for the tip. Usually I beat my freewheels into submission.

That is some info one wants to hear.
Normally one would get something along the lines of "I am testing many prototype frame designs, which are frequently sent back to factory for analysis", translated into "They don't even last a month".

The question is how often do they get a new one...

Considering to buy one, if its weight is justified.l by its durability...

My crack is smoked as follows:
Jack Carthy did a World Record side hop of 146,5 cm a few days ago in London, and it didn't look like he or anyone else of the present super elite riders could go much higher.
-
You are doing 52 after a few weeks practice and 3 years of basics as a child, that is just 5" below current world record.
If you train for another year, Carthy and Hermance will have a new rival for sure.

This thing:
Where did it snap?

Just got the fourPlay powdercoated , new lease of life
Sick blue. Now complement this with Magura-yellow brakes...

If one would build a bike with a selection of the ideas from the other contestants,
a bike which would be practical not only in videos, but also in reality, could indeed be the result.
Anyhow, they say that Fuji will build the contest winner.

I love this kind of extreme tech riding.

Proper video. Especially music/riding sync. And the drop into the slide was way out.
Apologies another Inspired thread - 4Play Element 2014

Not cramped and trials emphasis:
Used Zoot DD or newish Zoot, upgrade disk brakes, try out different stems, grips, pedals.
Lighter handlebars and fork later.
If you are not fat or very clumsy, this is a good alternative.
