  1. Aspect ratio doesn't look right either.

Quite right! Shot 16:9, they have either set the project settings up wrong or chosen the wrong frame size on export. By what Rowan has mentioned to myself and John recently, they have amazing cameras, so yeah, somebody has just messed up somewhere along the way!

I actually quite enjoyed it! Thought it was a different take on London, different spots/locations, and yeah that beam up to wall was mental, Martyn still has mad skills!

Just technically it let itself down, expected more from a major brand - i.e. Mercedes/Animal etc.

  2. dont over do it jonny , its realy nice , but its just a basic vid.

Its basic but worked very well. I don't believe I 'over did' it lol, im just hugely excited about the possibility of these cameras, they're utter game changers in every way!

The white level might have something to do with your monitor, looked fine on mine and obviously Andy's too. Obviously white levels can be completely adjusted - especially if any of these videos are to be broadcasted! But yes, its Andy's first video and first batch of footage from the 7D, he's said there's LOADS to learn about it and its going to be a constant experimental process - of which I'm very much looking forward to seeing! :)

  3. First of all, this - in my eyes - is a fantastic video! Andy wasn't sure about showing it because its the first video he's made from footage he's shot on his new Canon 7D DSLR. Its also the first time he's used Final Cut Pro. The visual quality is out of this world, the riding is full of jazz, the editing is spot on and I think people should see it! Andy: Awesome job on this, love it!! :D

  4. I have been following your vids, they are VERY entertaining!! Just watched your barcelona one that was VERY awesome! You guys have a cool group of mates :) how did you all meet and start riding?

    Thanks for the vids (Y)

    Theo

Thanks Theo! We actually all met on a dating website, haha just kidding! Like loads of riders on the forum, I think we've just become good friends over the years since sort of 2003... in fact I think it might have started with NASS 2003!? I could be wrong haha, but yeah, like a lot of 'groups' on here we've just always ridden with one another and kept in touch etc :)

  5. Am I really the only one that noticed the ninja noises from Tricks and Stunts? Funny bit.

Haha maybe, I put them in on the sly really, just as a bit of fun  If you want the noises, they're at the beginning of 'Kill Too Hard' by Wu-Tang, from the 'Chamber Music' album. :)

  6. Captured it a treat there Jonny, such a good ride.

Looking forward to the Reading edit too.

    Nick

Cheers fella, was one of those rides wasn't it where everybody was bouncing off each other and by the next day people were wishing there were more days like it! :)

I think I now have something new for my signature lol

  7. Awesome stuff again Jonny! Really sweet edit, thoroughly enjoyed that. Cool riding always a bonus too of course!

Wasn't Bessel getting rid of the Kamel?

Thanks dude, and to the other kind comments from people :)

I thought he was gonna sell the Kamel too, as far as I know he still has it, he must have gotten used to it! But then he's been riding some brakeless 24" recently too lol

  8. Here's a video I shot and edited of the brilliant ride we had last month in Oxford, sorry its taken so long to put together lol! My normal camera was broken at the time and was being repaired, so apologies about the quality.

The music is by 'Deadly Science' - a track I found on an old hard drive. I can't seem to find them on Spotify, iTunes or any other music service, so if I have got the artist completely wrong please tell me, cheers!

    Enjoy :)

  9. download? when i click the one it takes me to some gay quicktime thing?

Haha love it, that'll be the source video I uploaded, QuickTime isn't gay, its amazing :P But yeah like Toby said, just try right clicking and 'save as' or 'save target as' to your desktop or where ever you like to store videos :)

Thanks so much for everybody's comments and kind words!! :) Really 90% of what made the video work was the lads having the camera rolling where it was rolling (if that makes sense), it captured the best bits!

I've got a few more videos coming within the next two weeks (hopefully) so yeah, being unemployed has its perks haha!

  10. I roled my car yesterday, went to fast round the corner. Me and my mates only injuries were a few minor cuts on our hands. We were both very lucky.

To be fair, this should be in 'The Car Thread'. Secondly, if I had this kind of accident, I wouldn't be posting about it on a public forum, just seems wrong and to me says you've learnt nothing from the experience, it isn't cool. Sorry if I sound like a c*nt saying that, but its my angle on it. PLEASE be 200% more considerate when you're driving next, especially (as has been said) if you've got passengers. Also, its a harsh fact, but its because of drivers like you that gives guys, in general, an overall bad reputation for driving and hence why we pay loads more for insurance! Rant over, apologies if I have offended!

  11. Really was an awsome trip even though all the bad stuff that went down, thanks so much for doing that for us all jonny :)

No worries dude :D Its great everybody is liking it so far :D I too was blown away by Porter and Bessell as well as Rob too! Those sweet static whips from G, mint as! John's stack made my legs go all funny lol

  12. Here's a video of when Shrewsbury, Bessell, Porter, Rob Cook and G Holland went to Barcelona at the beginning of this year.

They spent a week there and all was going well until day 3 arrived! Then sh*t hit the fan lol!

This can also be downloaded here! - For those of you that have any problems downloading from Vimeo itself! :)

They shot all the footage, I edited it for them.

All the music credits are at the end of the video as well as on the Vimeo video description.

The video is just over 23mins long, so hopefully it will make for some decent viewing!

Thanks also to Inspired, Trialtech and Heatsink. Big shout out to Fluid 23 Clothing too, which looks to be making a stunning come-back!!

    Enjoy! :D

  13. Superb riding and beautifully shot! HD DSLR's are going to take over the world in terms of how people film things, they are a billion times better than standard video cameras! Only thing I didn't like was the first lot of flickering in the editing that didn't really go with the music, even though I think it was trying to lol
