  1. i was suprised myself! Especially on a full on trials, I haven't had any issue with stopping power. So easy to bleed too, I got mine for £35 for the pair off eBay. Such a good buy.
  2. Shimano Acura or whatever they're called, I just know them by there reg no. BR-M395. Brilliant stopping power from a budget pair of brakes, believe you can get a set £50-80 new. Wouldn't believe it from the quality you get from it, should be a lot more.
  3. Frick that rockman stretches that line to the absolute limit
  4. What about a koxx sky 3 mod? Although that Marino is the highest I've seen
  5. That Marino is almost stretching it past that line isn't it?
  6. Now we all know in recent years the bottom bracket is getting higher on quite a lot of bikes. However, no BBs go above the imaginary line drawn from the rear axle to the headtube as far as I'm aware. Are there any frames that do go above that line? So the frame is almost having to arch? It would be interesting to see how one of those handles. I get the feeling it would be unstable on the ground but on one wheel might be very stable.
  7. I rarely hit my chest going into full extension anyway, but somehow manage to bash my knees on the steerer clamp all the time.
  8. The element actually has bb5s I asked the guy at tartydays, same idea but a smaller adjuster to stop the problem of clipping the caliper on a sidehop.
  9. Fair enough I haven't been on a trials in ages so I had no idea what I was doing at tartydays. Need to get back into it
  10. I'm a tad confused here. I know you can buy jitsie stem pads that go over the bar clamp, for chest protection in full extension etc. Why isn't there a stem pad that covers the steerer clamp part of the stem? I've bashed my knees off mine more times than even I'd thought I would've done. Is there a market for them?
  11. Haha it was nice to meet all of you. Yes, I was the small guy on the NS. thanks, it took some time to get it right! ik you were sick on that onza! The one which I wasn't allowed to pull the Maggie fully?
  12. I got my mod back not in time for tarty but at least I have the mod I built. Thanks to the guy who bought my NS and the people who helped me out.
  13. I actually start drifting directions while I'm walking, bumping In to people. It's not fun for them or me, but the balance on a bike makes up for it.
  14. Ever since I started to properly get into cycling, I've noticed I trip over my feet quite often, and don't feel perfectly righted when standing on flat ground. Put me on a trials bike and I'm more balanced than when I am standing. Is this common?
  15. I will gladly discuss it, but first,if I can get my mod back I'd rather do that.
  16. I appreciate that other people will think differently, and I appreciate the sentiment towards this subject, but please, I want nothing to do with all this "getting it back" it was my fault I didnt get it back, so I dont need anything on that. If you know anyone who wants a high spec bike for a dirt cheap price, please comment. If you don't, comment anyway, but I'd rather not discuss this matter It's actually more like a law that I don't understand fully and the robber exploited my lack of knowledge. But if rather not discuss it. Id*
  17. And when I say stole, it's more of a legal loophole, but that isnt the point. I can get. Different mod quite easily, but if I can get mine back I'd rather do that. I don't use this ns much, and I don't need the hassle of police when I can easily just sell something I don't use and buy something I will....
  18. The guy selling it isn't the one who stole it, I don't need this ns or the hope brake, so I'm not going to take it off a guy who didn't know anything about it.

    Help

Right so I found my stolen mod- for sale at £380. All I have is my NSbikes capital 2013 MSG for spec, and a hope mono mini brake, all which is worth well over £1500. I'm gonna let it go for 380. Please, please. I want my mod back so much it's unbearable.
  20. If there is going to be pain/ injury involved, the pain bit of your brain releases adrenaline, or whatever sciency chemical it is. When there is no "adrenaline rush" the body only uses about 20% of it's full muscle capacity. With adrenaline, this jumps up to about 40% I believe. That includes eye movement, response time etc. That can sometimes be the reason things seem slower. On another note, when you get a high power shock and get sent flying, that's no the electricity doing that, it's because the shock makes every muscle tense to 80%-100% power and the flying is literally your legs propelling you. Basically we all have the ability to be superman but the damage done to our muscles means we would live a lot less longer.
  21. I am also willing to give up my spare bike and all my spare and then some for a mod, so if you have any cheeky little mods you dont use which are fairly decent can you bring them with you, the little twit on the bright red NSbikes will be raking the area for one (me)
  22. the bike I was thinking if has no brakes at all, but it has a curved sidewall that only goes flat not too far away from the rim, so I wasn't sure if they would fit...
  23. Huzzah! The tickets arrived a few days ago
  24. Graveyards are so popular these days- I hear people are dying to get in them
