  1. Yeah, I love the lever feeling too, much preferred over competition. I'm probably going to experiment with sintered and organic pads a little. However its strange that you seem to have less power, most tests said it should be even stronger than the RSC... Give it another try when you get your set back. BTW, you could use the RSC levers with the ultimate if you preferred them?
  2. I've had the problem with the pivot bolt only once, using a soft loctite helps. Didn't recognize the clicking you mentioned so far, should be pretty much the same lever except the material? However I haven't really been riding this bike so far so I can't tell about the power. But found the RSC absolutely powerful enough. Maybe you can try some different pads (I'm trying sintered on the ultimate now)? Did you have problems with leaking with the ultimate so far? I've read you have with the RSC. Cheers.
  3. Hey Ben, I'm running 26-18, which is a little lighter than 22-15.
  4. Hey guys, little update off my console. Received some new brakes and cranks form partner SRAM. Regards from Germany, Andi
  5. As the title says it's a pursuit with a "bad" guy who actually just wants to hande me the engagement ring. I'm absolutely ok if trial-based people miss the bike-action, I do as well. because he knew from the previous scene that he wouldn't have a chance chasing by foot. the director liked it that way.... Are you serious man? Wouldn't have expected such a reaction and going to such a low level. Showed it to my GF and she felt very bad about it. Thanks man! That's a absolut NoGo for me.
  6. Hi guys, thought I'd share our most recent project. It is not completely related to trials but just go ahead and have a look! Found it nice to produce something different. The next video will be more bike-action-related again. Thanks and regards from Germany, Andi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y4GFt2vsO4
  7. Hey guys, tried to ride it up on the left side, but was to slippery... right side is really impossible, looks much simpler than it is. :) Cheers! Andi
  8. Hi Ross! I was surprised how well it holds up without tugs. It never slipped except after one bigger crash. I also get i nice, tight chain setup pretty easily and fast. However you have to tighten the fun bolts pretty strong (with the hope hub it slipped a few times, as you can't tighten the bolts as strong as the fun bolts). All in all very happy, never missed the tugs!
  9. Thanks guys! The only thing I still want to add is the 15mm front axle.
  10. Hey guys, thought I'd share a few pics of the recent setup! Switched from the silver SRAM guide to the black one, think that fit's the setup a bit better. Regards from Germany, Andi
  11. Appreciate your post and know what you mean. We did the whole filming within one afternoon and Si pretty much used all the sequences we got and also used all combined and longer lines, without cutting them into shorter pieces. But I know what you mean, some lines seem to be a bit long. Will be filming with a team soon and may let then know that you want short lines, Ross! (A) :wink2:
  12. A friend from Sydney, Simon Betteridge, visited me some weeks ago and we did some filming. Here's what came out, hope you like it.
  13. Hey guys, did a bit of filming with my GoPro in my hometown. Hope you like it! Regards! Andi
  14. Thanks guys! bikeperson45: Thanks! No real warm up, just did it very quick. I'm pretty used to ride shows (cold) with a very quick warm up, so that wasn't a problem. (I usually use the flatland part as a warm up haha). Ross: Yeah console. The BHhop actually wasn't that close. I may have made it looked close? haha. The length of the studio was just a bit short but the hop no problem. Although I consider myself a pretty relaxed demo rider I was nervous about the slackline part as it was a weird situation with the cameras in the background and have never done it in a show before. I was so glad it worked on the first try. Thanks!
  15. Hey guys, thought I'd share this video here. Had an appearance on TvTotal, one of the most famous late night shows in Germany, about a million viewers. After a small talk (on German, but you get the idea ) I have done a little demo, happy I've kept my nerves! Hope you like it. Best, Andi http://tvtotal.prosieben.de/videoplayer/?id=21659

    Short 24" Ride

Thanks for the feedback! No real training. Just was to lazy to get another title... Sorry, not until it is blackly sprayed! Thanks! Here are the channel links, if somebody wants to see the other videos: http://vimeo.com/andischuster www.youtube.com/user/SchusterAndi Yesterday again I found a nice old video from 12 years ago (2002), good times... Short 24" Ride

Used to ride 26 for ages but wanted to try a 24 as there are no proper 26 disc frames available. First rides where real fun: Hope you like. Best, Andi
  18. Thanks guys! Its actually no real slack line but a webbing load restraint assembly, not sure how the correct english expression is. (http://www.spanngurt-technik-shop.de/shop/images/content/4%20to%20Spanngurt.jpg) But it has the same characteristics as a slack line, as some slack pros told me, just cheaper. Of course there are a lot of different slacks available (also material wise). A wider version isn't necessarily better for biking. 180s bloody hard! Lets see...
  19. Had fun playing around with a slackline and bike. Getting up there is definitely the hardest part. ;-) Cheers, Andi
  20. Marino 26, 1028, +18, 74°, 380. Cheers, Andi
  21. Hi guys, my New York Video is finally online. Big thanks to Chris Medina (chrismedinaphotography.com), Rikki Snyder (rikkisnyder.com) and Dany Tettamanti for their awesome work. And of course www.casco-helme.de and www.chiba.de for their great support. (The Video may contain some sequences of LA .) Hope you like it. Best, Andi
