there's nothing to dropping and/or putting it back Luke, ive done it when changing arb.
-
Alas I'm still too poor to afford decent mods but I did manage to sort the rear wiper problem......by removing it
Is that one you bond in?
Been looking to do it to mine, but was looking at one of the threaded/removable one, as i know what my MOT tester is like..

He's from cornwall, so probably

jack the bar up?

There is that but bear in mind that whilst they might be instant, a supercharger is generally effective over a smaller working range than a turbo so it depends what characteristics you're looking for.
Bearing in mind that there are (probably) plenty of documented turbo-MX5 builds/guides and parts available, I can't see it being too much of a killer to strap a turbo on there instead (but then that'll be getting in to my own preference, so I'll stop there)
yeah i know, Superchargers generally give lower boost, but the boost comes on far quicker than a turbo.
but he said easiest
-
Easiest is supercharging, only if you've got enough space in reference to fitting it inline with all your pulleys.
no intercooler, as you've mentioned far less pipes, less heat, ect
-
id say so, considering the front wheels aren't on the 4 poster

Like that?
Honestly, if that guy hadn't arranged something with the lorry driver beforehand then F**k me that's a death wish!
The thing is though, especially with cycling, the moment you take away wind resistance, your actual efficiently goes through the roof.
Its like when Guy martin did it, 112mph on a beach by drafting behind a modified lorry cab

Hell, that's good going.... driving with an erection aswell!

The 90 non-pd version is very sluggish, but great on fuel and very reliable.
Granted I bought a lemon when I upgraded to the 150 pd, but from what I've heard they're not the best engines anyway, even if you get a reliable one.
I still have a soft spot for Leon's...
Ive never found mine that slow, but then i haven't driven any of the pd's to compare to.
Saying that, that's probably more to do with the fairly new turbo, 2.5" stainless exhaust, 150pd inlet, egr delete, bigger side mount.... ect ect

64MPG on my last run, admittedly thats from a 90 non pd engine, but still

Car failed MOT(as expected). the list is, and i quote "too long to go over on the phone".....
f**k My Life!

Cars going in for MOT tomorrow.
Its going to fail on brake pipes.
i f**king hate doing brake pipes!
Going to have to drop the rear beam and fuel tank just to get to it!

Buy one, throw it in the water, paddle. As much as there are probably semi-official routes you can go down to get a certificate of proficiency, screw any of that bull and just get wet.
and maybe inflate it at some point?

I found them to be more inspiring than any freewheel ive ever used. I'm running a pro 2 Trials (48ep) and the engagements are clean and crisp EVERY time. It hasn't skipped or made any funny noises in the last 2-3 years....

Are you sure people aren't saying 'should've' as opposed to 'should of'?
Suppose its much the same thing, but should've seems to be a correct contracted form, but MEH. I should of known this topic would be full of dann270774845465626...
Corrected

You know what i meant!

Standard voided front bushes
Standard (god knows how old) rear beam bushes
front budget 235/35/18 tyres
rear budget 195/75/15 tyres
i'd like to see anyone make that handle
