  1. I live in Willesden Green, would be keen to meet up for a ride although I am a beginner.
  2. Hello everyone, My name is Reece, I'm from Australia and have been living in London since early this year. I have ridden the Moto trials for the past two years along with trail riding. Since there isn't many places to ride a Moto trials bike in London I decided to buy a trials bicycle. Here is a picture of my Zoo (not sure of the year, any ideas??) and my Motorbikes back Down Under! Anyone in London looking to ride, hit me up, I'm learning so I should provide hours of entertainment as I crash, fall and probably break something. Cheers, Reece.
  3. Terrific! Thank you very much for the advice, it really does help a lot. I will be still running the 4 bolt set up but will eventually go to a disk brake set up ( Need some cash $$$ ). I'm leaning towards the Eklipse option at this point in time. Thanks for the breakdown Sponge!!!! Reece.

  5. Hey guys, Whilst simply hopping on the front wheels, my forks folded then snapped (see picture below). As you could imagine I am pissed, I shudder to think what would have happened if I was going fast...... Okay, so moving on, I need a little guidance...... First off, I'm curious about what differences between a larger axle offset forks ( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_forks/because_curved_blade_2013/c40p12036.html ) compared to a smaller offset or straight forks ( http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_forks/b1k3_eklipse_4bolt/c40p12695.html ) I can only imagine that there will be a slight difference in handling but am more curious in possible difference in strength. Secondly, is this fork folding incident something to get used too? I have heard a few stories and have seen the odd video of forks folding on trials bicycles and am not sure if it is something i need to vigilant about. Thoughts, facts and guidance are welcomed. Cheers! Reece.
  6. Fantastic! Thank you everyone, I appreciate the tips and advice. The google maps with all the spots around London is such a great resource, especially for new guys like me, Thank you Rusevelt and Mark W. I would love to get to Barrow Farm but I don't have a car.... yet.... but if I end up with one it will be one of the first places on my list. It would be great to compile more spots around London, are there any hassles setting up a Google Map account? It would be awesome to share any spots I may find. Cheers guys, Reece.
  7. Hey Everyone, I have moved to London from Australia and recently purchased a 26" Zoo bike, I am a beginner to the bicycle side of trials but have ridden the powered equivalent for a few years. I am looking for places to ride within London and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I am currently based in North West London. I am also aware of the short days and cold weather coming up, so perhaps riding spots will be limited. Also if anyone else in the area and is willing to offer some advice in return to watching me crash, please feel free to PM. Cheers! Reece.
