  1. what about a 2-bolt booster?
  2. I rode Wantage a couple of times, some years back. Have you still got that abandoned car in some sketch area that I assume used to be for actually fixing cars? 'twas a great abandoned car to which I am indebted to, for helping me learn several new moves.
  3. is the rear cog a chris king cog or simular?, if i will take it and the sapcers, how much you looking for providing you split? cheers jimbo
  4. im thinking of using a 17 cog and a 11, so i can both ride trials then ride home. i was thinking of using a old style roady shifter just under my seat so i can adjust the mech to suit the cog. hopefully this should work has any one tried this?
  5. burgundy with all black componets looks real pimpster............ or have you considered just shining it up and coating it with laqure. jimbo
  6. kmc kool chain ( if you go got the cash you could try the shadow consiperacy chain but over wize get a kool thereonly £7 in some places and super strong hence why the are so popular) shimano 105/sora mech(y) and the inner sprocket depends on personal preferaces.
  7. i havent used white spirit on the rim , some body suggested using it but i personaly havent used it . ill try using deoderant though seems a good idea. cheers(y) jimbo
  8. cheers for all the advise/opinions im going to try a odysea cable , and some plaz spanih flies, and try giving the rim a proper clean and see what effect that has. cheers(y) jimbo
  9. if you have the patience i say wait for the new hope pro 2 trial to be released. it has around 48 points of engagement ( same as profile) and you get the amazing hope warrenty and customer service all for about £130 which is good value compared to kings. if you do not wish to wait try getting a king from america on ebay you can get them for about £185+ postage or if your on a budget and require a strong reliable hub get a hope xc . jimbo
  10. you could get a streety style stock with a few gears and a road saddle with a post. if you buy a short cage mech such as the shimano 105 or sora then you wont find to many probs. then when riding trials use the low gears and when you want to just ride around pop the saddle up and use a higher gear and off you go. jimbo
  11. acording to a advert onza put in mbuk ( at the time of the release of the woodstock complete) the free wheel is being developed by goldtech. and will cost around £49. ( this was from a while back). here is a 16t trials eno going fairly cheap: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/white-industries-fre...1QQcmdZViewItem jimbo
  12. hope mono m4 or trial or the way. plenty of power , look sexy and not forgeting hope's unriveled cutomer service and repair warrenty(y). jimbo
  13. im running a rear avid ultimate with an xtr lever and xtr cable with heatsink v pads. the problem is this set up is not proving to be that good. i was just wondering what are your opinions on the "perfect" rear v-brake set up(pads, cable ect..). *im using a mavic 521 ceramic rim*. cheer for your opinions(Y) jimbo
