  1. Yeah but as Simon said, if a policeman told you to shut up, you would.
  2. Surprise surprise, Charlie posts in a thread and it ends up in a massive argument.
  3. Another QFT I love you Ben.
  4. OHHHH QFT Abusing Mods is always a good plan.
  5. Hahah classic. Yeah I definitely think it's a much better design than tugs or cams, they're a brilliant design.
  6. Can only find a 122 on CRC, http://chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=17473
  7. Yeah they're considered the strongest rims around pretty much. Dunno about the hubs, I use a King rear hub and an Onza sealed front hub, but I don't see what can go wrong with the Deng stuff, it's only a couple of bearings an axle and a hubshell. Don't expect Tarty to be able to build your wheels until February at the earliest.
  8. Tarty bikes spokes are tenner a set, plus tenner per wheel, then hubs you're looking at something like Hope XC, Pro2 or a Deng hub, so something like £50, rear fixed hub something like a Deng for £55, so all together about £210 for matching Deng hubs, Echo rims, and Mutiny spokes plus tarty builds.
  9. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2220 £30 for Front http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2017 £35 for Rear
  10. Sounds awesome mate. I'm getting a camera... this one in fact http://www.flickr.com/photos/10238858@N00/2083224463/
  11. I assume it's not loose enough to be able to take a link out? But replacing the chain sounds like a good idea anyway
  12. See the threaded hole in the back of the dropout? You screw the bolt into the dropout and it pushes the wheel back. Allows much better control than snail cams do, and means your tension is always set the same even when you take your wheel out, and doesnt wear down like the notches on snail cams do. Much like this
  13. No, not at all, I was pointing it out to you... lol
  14. Here's some corrections. Nothing to do with pressure, all the TPA does is screw the piston further into the master cylinder to push the pads closer to the rim. EDIT: I also assume it's a post '05 Magura as you said you've had it a year and bought it brand new.
  15. When peoples TPAs break they usually just stop turning. There is no way that the TPA would have any effect on the lever movement if you don't touch it, it has to be a split hose, and you're not putting it simply at all you're using shit english. "The lever short pull a little bit, for the brake to then lock." That doesn't make any sense. Right I can't even understand your post to be honest your english is shit. "So if the TPA is jammed, it may not have proper control of the pressure on the fluid, and over time create the same effect as turning the wheel to minus." Not true at all, if the TPA is jammed, then it's jammed, it doesn't move, it wont change the "pressure" of the fluid at all, it just jams. If your TPA is staying in the same place for the WHOLE ride, and the lever is slowly needing to be pulled further, then you have a leak, end of story.
  16. For the record, I want your frame, and not cos of the sticker, just cos I want one.
  17. If you read his bio on wiki it shows he was always a bit of a twat... "Knievel did very well as an insurance salesman (even selling insurance policies to several institutionalized mental patients) and wanted recognition for his efforts. When the company refused to promote him to vice-president after a few months on the job, he quit." Seems he was always just trying to con people to make money, what a fanny. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evel_Knievel
  18. I don't really understand your post but I'd say do the following things... Take your lever off and sort out the TPA Bleed your brake That should sort any problems out.
  19. Exactly, you don't always need to replace both tyres because the rear one pretty much always wears out before the front one, so some people would see buying a pair as a waste of money and just want a single one. I got my creepys off ebay, they were cheaper.
  20. They're pretty much what I've got, except not Park ones
  21. I use motorbike tyre levers to get my mod tyre on and off, try some of them, theyre about 9" long and metal.
