  1. But he would have. You: "Hey man, I wanted to put together an animated GIF I wondered if you knew what program I should use" Him: "Hey, you use Adobe ImageReady, I've got a copy if you want it?" You: "That would be awesome, I'll get it in a bit" Him: "No probs"
  2. You do realise myspace is apparently worth about 10 BILLION dollars? http://mashable.com/2006/09/27/myspace-worth-20-billion/
  3. Why not ask your brother then? Surely a quick phone call is easier than posting on a messageboard.
  4. Um... Cameras, Lenses, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, Pay off my rent for the year at uni, pay off my mortgage for my parents house, buy my mum, dad and sister new cars, buy a new house, buy a house in cardiff, buy loads of clothes, and shoes, probs give my housemates a few K each, and my close friends too. I'd probably buy out Le Pub too, and TJs, and all sorts of other clubs in and around south wales, and put on awesome shows, all the time. Yeahhhh. Who knows. I'd put probably 85 in a bank, and keep the rest, then let the 85 pay for the rest of my life.
  5. Congratulations, you must be so proud.
  6. "Mac OS X installation was interrupted and you can’t start up your computer. Restart your computer while holding down the mouse or trackpad button to eject the Install disc. Your computer may start up using the last system you were using. If it doesn’t and you have another Mac OS system installed on your computer, restart your computer while holding down the Option key to select a startup disk. If your computer doesn’t start up this way, insert the Mac OS X Install disc in your computer and hold down the C key while restarting your computer. Open Startup Disk preferences and select a startup disk." http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/Tiger_Ins...Setup_Guide.pdf Page 14. Apart from that I've no idea.
  7. Get a road cassette or a normal cassette and build something like 20 19 18 16 15 12
  8. Installer>Quit? Alternatively try rebooting holding the mouse button, that will eject the CD, then it will either boot into OS X, or not, then if it doesn't, re-booting holding C may allow you to reinstall.

What about the world cup rule? 4 years younger, until they're 16, then it doesn't matter.

http://www.interfacelift.com is pretty damn good for wallpapers/icons/etc.
  16. Yeah I've got alt + space for play/pause, alt+left for prev. song and alt + right for next song. I also use Virtue Desktops for my virtual desktop needs, which will become redundant once Leopard is out as Spaces will take over it's duty. SlimBatteryMonitor is good for those with laptops + small screens, can completely customise the way that the battery monitor looks. I also use iStat Menus to tell me temperature, RAM usage, CPU Usage, and as a clock, then I just dragged the Apple clock outta my menu bar (hold Apple and drag it off, this can also be used to move menubar objects around) So yeah, links to the programs Quicksilver: http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/ Virtue Desktops: http://virtuedesktops.info/ SlimBatteryMonitor: http://www.orange-carb.org/SBM/ iStat Menus: http://www.islayer.com/index.php?op=item&id=28 As I've been using Macs for the last 4 years of my life I've come to know how to use them fairly well, if you have any problems feel free to add me on msn, like Rory did a while ago, iamjonmack@googlemail.com
  17. In reply to Nick. This might be able to do it. http://www.iospirit.com/index.php?mode=vie...19a70f5f34b926c Or I remembered you can just hold down the play button on the remote to make it sleep. Then read Rorys reply haha. That's what you get when you don't concentrate.

    Koxx Quality

I wouldn't be able to design a frame, and I'm not saying that Koxx suck because they break, I ride an XTP ffs. I'm not bashing Koxx at all I don't even understand why you're arguing me. All I've said is that the bike should be able to put up with the stresses of comp riding, but bikes break, and it sucks. However I think it's slightly stupid that Koxx are designing frames that dont last a whole season, because they're relying on the fact that riders are either sponsored, or are going to buy a new frame every three months, money money money.

    Koxx Quality

I don't misunderstand anything, and I'm well aware companies make bikes as light as possible for comp use. Please don't try and patronise me, I was stating that the fact it's designed for comps doesnt mean anything, it should still have strength, because when you're riding a comp you're going to be riding hard. What I was saying is that I personally ride natural harder than I ride street, so if I was to ride a comp, I would ride even harder, so the bike should be able to put up with that kind of stress, no matter the weight, but I was also saying that bikes do break, and it's just a part of trials life.

The fact it's designed for "competition use" means nothing. Bikes are ridden hard weather it's on street or natural, in fact I probably ride harder when I'm on natural. But at the end of the day, bike's break, yeah it's a shame, but nothing can last forever, especially not a frame, after all, they're designed to be ridden.
  21. Chain Reaction has a massive disc sale, got the email about it today.
