  1. Bad experience?

Well apart from being renowned as generally shit, yeh. Ordered my D70 from there a few years ago and it kept saying (for instace) in stock on the 10th of october, come to the 10th and it would move to the 20th, then the 29th, etc. Soon as I emailed them to cancel the order they had 'magically' found me a camera that had already been shipped. If I wasn't so happy to finally have a camera when it arrived, I would have sent it back.

Also they are based in france, instructions are in french (although thats not really a problem) but yeah, just don't even bother. Companies with such bad service don't even deserve your money, it's like Jessops, great prices but absolutely shit, hence why are are in financial ruin.

  2. Out of all of the compacts I personally find samsungs the worst, slow, too much flash, crappy sounds, the worst is when you find a really cheap camera that says "snap" when your taking a photo!

Just go for a cheap fuji, olympus or nikon, shud do the trick!

Try warehouse express as well (Y)

  3. The roller balls on mine always stop working, on like my 3rd mouse, luckily I don't pay for them lol

any idea how to fix it?

First time is a pain the ass to get the screws out but I've done mine loads since.

Back to the shuffle, old one is much better imo, good for riding

  4. First year most people go into halls which is sorted by the uni or go into the rather over priced unite buildings. In the first year I was in a flat of 7 people, get a room with en-suite and a shared kitchen. Would of been a right laugh if you get good flat mates but 3 of mind couldn't speak english and the rest were boring as pig shit. Tis about £100 a week though so not cheap, theres 3 unite buildings in ply, some better and closer than others, search google for their site.

Then after that find some pals and move into a house yalllll

  5. Looking at getting a 1TB external hardrive.

Been looking on the usual sites and there's just so much choice. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what drive they have had experience with?

It's got to be 1TB, USB2 or firewire, power supply and work on mac.

Ideally under £100 but I don't want something thats going to be cheap and nasty that will fail after a few months.

What brands would people recommend? Freecom....lacie.....segate....western digital.....?

I firstly looked at this Western Digital my book but after reading the reviews, 48 1 stars! christ

This looks like it'll do the job, pretty basic drive but good reviews..... Western digital elements

Again same sorta thing, I've got a 160gb freecom at the moment but it did crash on me once.... Freecom classic

    Any help would be great!

    Cheers
