  1. I'm just panning on a tripod
  2. Jeff's been featured in many WheresTheSeat.com episodes
  3. It's been a while since I've actually shot and edited a video seriously. I have to say I'm a little bit rusty. Had a lot of fun shooting this with Jeff though. It was also my first time using the Olympus EPL-2, so the settings are not quite refined yet.
  4. I like them a lot. It's more stable for me than the continental rubberqueen/trialsqueen. The compound might be slightly less grippy, but it's certainly more usable on angled and cambered obstacles. Overall, it's a more usable tire for me.
  5. It took me a while to get used to the new graphics, but I'm starting to really like the way the bike looks now
  6. Cross post from Richmond trials (Discussion is about hs-33 forks, but the changes still apply) : Rockman has made some design changes to the Spade forks for 2011. We've just received the 4bolt versions, and they look amazing. As you can see in the picture, the taper for the crown race is very gradual (you can barely see it!). The dropouts are also a little smaller than the previous iteration. The steerer is also thicker near the crown area. There is a lot of material there. Here are some pics of the matching tapered forks supplied with the grey Slate 3 tapered frame.
  7. I didn't bother to edit them, since I was still learning the new lens. I'll get some WTS series worthy clips when I go back in March. Bike is also setup slightly different now. You can find the current spec here : Enjoy the videos
  8. I just finished installing my spade 3 fork. 9. Just finished building this around 1am today. I'm leaving for Taiwan later tonight, so I went out for a short ride to try and get used to the bike. It's really comfortable. I didn't need a lot of time to get used to it. Expect some footage from Taiwan later on
  10. I love speedrace. They're sponsoring everyone
  11. Definitely thinking about it
  12. It was my first ride on the bike, so the chain was pretty prone to stretching. It's fixed now.
  13. I got tired of waiting for my Hopes, so I decided to try the Bjorn Levin brakeless. I was surprised at how capable it is without the brakes. I think the geometry and weight of this frame is very dialed right now, and I'm looking forward to riding it with the brakes on.
  14. aww i was just going to post this. hahaha
  15. Thanks I don't see myself living there, but it's definitely a cool place for a visit.
  16. You are referring to Steve Dickin I believe =)
  17. This episode is the last one for our 2010 season. It has been a great year for us, and the trials community in Vancouver is as strong as ever. I am really happy that the series provided a common goal for everyone who participated, and I think we all learned to enjoy the sport of Bicycle Trials a little more. There are way too many riders featured in this video for me to list them out one by one. I don't think the names are important anyways. I'd like to give thank Rockman Bikes for their support, DJ Spinege for sending us some of his work, and all the riders from Biketrial.tw for their hospitality during my trip to Taiwan.
