  1. Defo needs a set of Maguras on it.
Stem and bars look a little too high. I’ve got a set of Azonic OCR and bars that would work.
Glad your fitting a proper seat, a nice Tan Flite would look perfect.

    Very nicely done though

Funnily enough I was at Curtis yesterday visiting Gary. Real works of art. Recently picked up an MX24 frame, but a T24/T1 is the absolute dreammmm

No way, he keeping well? The MX24 is pretty. I have one more T1 in the garage

  3. So I’ve come down with something. 99% sure it’s a stinking cold but got rushed to doctors last night struggling to breath. Been diagnosed with asthma, they say a chest infection and this morning I had to go do a PCR as LFT is clear. So I’ve inhaler, monitors and antibiotics. Great!!

    Cheers Pete.

Updated Geo is the big difference. I ran an arcade fork on my Leeson, but the head angle feels steeper on the Arcade and it is less effort on the back wheel. Doesn’t feel like you are fighting it as much.

Having a non proprietary BB is the most welcome addition with a BSA threaded shell. The Leeson BB design is tidy, but having to send it back to Clive for a replacement wasn’t very desirable.

The black chrome paint job is nice, but well used now. Looks to be silver chrome beneath, so may see if i can strip it back to that.

Ah yeah that makes sense with the fork and the geo.

I replaced a few of the BB’s. It was lock tight, circlip and interference fit. I can’t recall if you had to pay him or not.

Don’t forget the folks who are resurrecting / rebuilding classic street trials frames which ironically have a very similar geo (albeit with longer chainstays). Hell of a market for things like old pashely / giant / cannondale / pace / ashton builds.

I’ll caveat that by saying a lot of these builds will never be ridden as hard as they once were!

Too scary to ride some of them that hard!!!

The builder is called Dave Bohm. Found it on the framebuilders facebook thread. Apparently he wanted a bike to start doing trials with. So he built one himself. Thats all I know. Regarding the smooth fillets the way brazing works is by having a root pass done in which the silicone bronze flow inside of the tube mitter and create a inner fillet. This gives it the strenght, the big outter fillet is pretty much overkill, you would need 2 to 3 times the thickness of the wall tubing in the fillet to make it really sound. From the picture it looks like way much more than that. Id say the tubes buckle way before the weld. I say this from doing test runs on fillet tube. The problem with smooth fillet is actually undercutting the tubing while one smooths it out. That can create problems.

I’m a frame builder by trade dude. I use to work at Argos Racing Cycles in Bristol and also Bike Workshop frame building before going on my own. Fillet brazing is just an art and flare, showing off.  A brazed joint is fine. Look at Chris and Leeson for example.

The mount is unsupported and has very small surface contact for support. It’ll flex and twist off very quickly.

I'm still sat waiting for siacoin to make me a millionaire.

Haven’t touched it in ages after they forked and stopped ASICS mining it. I got some tucked away

Do you know what city Echo's manufacturer is in?

I have a lot of connections in China.  Some cities seem to go on as if nothing is happening, and other people haven't left their apartments in over a year.

The factory that was making the frame and forks is

PULO Bicycle Parts Co., Ltd. Bang Gang Village Song Gang Town. SHENZEN. China

Might be worth asking Tarty what they know

  9. Just watched back to bad all 4 films for the series, Rise of the Footsoldier. I fancied something a bit dark and gangsterish. Didn’t expect it to be based on true events.

Usually they're negatively correlated, and one can be used as a hedge against the other. Until that resets it's unlikely to pick up for a little while.

I'd recently started to dabble again - if it was good enough to buy last year, it's definitely good enough to buy at a discount now!

I expected bigger drops over the weekend. Monday morning could be a good time to go back in.

In other news? Peoples thoughts on Norvak Djokovic and Australia?

As you might guess he has my support but he’s not a popular guy at the moment

He’s medically exempt from it as am I. He doesn’t have to disclose to the media why or what his medical reason is but should to the government so it’s all legal.

The bit I’m confused with is reading and listen today about it all is if you’ve had covid in the last 6 months your okay to go as long as your tests are negative.
