Ok, so i've got a revell frame and bought a KMC kool chain so i could run it single speed without a tensioner. Taking a link out left the chain too short and leaving one in left the chain too long. I bought a half link and the wheel seems to be in the right place now, however, my tyre is rubbing on the gusset between the chainstays. I'm running a Halo Combat rim with a tioga factory crappy tyre, would a new tyre solve this problem? As in would it leave more tyre clearence as the tioga seems quite big off the rim. Or would running a wider rim give me more trye clearence. The rim i'm using is 36mm wide. Cheers guys, Oliver

I was in my local bike shop the other day and the owner had been talking to Rob Poyzer, he said he had said he was selling his shop to raleigh and going to taiwan to develop stuff over there. Anyone know anything more, didn't know whether to believe him untill this post arose!

I need to know how far apart the holes are on 4 bolt mounts, not the ones that are around 100mm that go across the frame, the ones that go up the frame. I've measured it to be around 45mm between centres, could anyone please comfirm this? I've got the design for a 4 bolt booster and need to be certain of where to put the holes, i'm going to CNC it tomorrow so it's pretty urgent! Cheers guys, Oll

Hi, to anyone that owns a revell or any bike with horizontal drop outs. Right, revell's having horizontal drop outs thought i could run single speed with out any kind of tensioner. I'm only using one cog on the rear. Now, i take one link out and the chain is too short, put one in and it's too long! One person suggested a shadow conspiracy, half-link chain, then another person said they are crap and stretch really easily. Another person suggested using a normal chain just with a half link in it. Is this the best way to do it? Or is it better to just use a normal chain using a tensioner?? Please help!!!

What are the ZOO! bars and stem like? Would they be OK for all round trials, not just UCI style riding? It's either these or some EA70's and a raceface stem, what you guys think?

This mite sound totally stupid but anyway. You feel cramped because of the distance between the pedals and the bars? Surely getting new forks and making the wheelbase bigger won't effect this?

I know there is a topic for this but this is too good!!! I'll set the scene, After a bad day at work, nearly not getting the flat he is supposed to be getting and cutting his finger almost to the bone my brother sat in the bus station in pain. Some townie came up to him and said, "can i borrow a cig mate?", my bro said, "sorry, i haven't got any". The townie, not believing him and trying to be intimidating then says, "I bet if i went through your pockets i would find a ten deck", my bro says, "Why would i have a ten deck?". The scally then leans over a barrier and punches my bro in the head. That was it, topped it all off for my brother. Stands up and grabs the townie by the wind pipe as hard as he possibly can, the lad letting out a shriek of pain as he does,and punches him in the face again as hard as he possibly can then hold the lad dangling over this barrier for five minutes untill the police arrive and arrest my brother. My bro lets go of the lad and he falls to the flor along with his burberry cap and starts crying. Turns out my bro broke his nose, fractured his cheek bone and knocked three of his teeth out! A story to tell the kids or what! One more chav that won't go round hitting people for no reason!!!!
