Can i ask why you wanted a wider rim? I know you wanted a wider rim but would you sacfafice strength over width. It is a known fact that Mavic are the best wheel producers, and when i changed to a wider rim it made my bike look bad ass. But the only difference was that the wider rim dented and i found myself every 5mins looking at my rim thinking, "shit is it f**ked". I would personally buy a d521 as in the picutre. And if more people had frames which could fit a D521 i highly believe many of them would go back to one.
It was designed, built, and dispatched straight from gods of an ancient time, long ago, in a far away land, it is the D521 Be wise by a 521. If not good luck.

it has been done, by me, it is not very good though, the best way to do it, is to use hopes new fittings that come with the braided hose, you have to have the pads set extremely close to the rim so your fudged if it buckles.................
the lever feel is not very good it comes to the bars, this is due to the laver to pivot ration being sumwhat different,
also with having a smaller psiton 9mm to be exact in the mini lever body the brake works quite well, in fact you do need a booster, the fact that you are mixing an open with a closed sytem does not really matter, although a c2 lever would work better, (these are still availble from most good bike shops)
when i had mine on i ran it on mineral fluid, worked fine didnt really damage the hope seals,
however i soon went back to using a magura body ( the older type )

Im not sutch a big fan of the Magura Hs33 lever 05. Is it possible to run a Hope trial disc lever with the Magura brake or will it be crap?
no it wont work. If you used a old school c2 leaver then yes, because it runs on a closed system unlike the trial which works on an open pot system. (i may have the 2 mixed up) but thats irrelevent it wont work, well to a trials standard anyway. It will be like the ultimate spungy mess.

hi all
one of my riding friends has got some fairly loud creaking noise from the bottom bracket area.
the sound also sounds like forks when they bend so this could suggest frame bend due to a crack. hes got a 1 month old bottom bracket so it is unlikely it is that. i believe that there is a crack in the frame. please help

hm.. no. Everything fine. I test it. The braking level is much better than with standart disc/pads... its like an article for those, who interested in increasing brake force.
Oh i see m8 sorry. Dosnt look all that but if it stops you and is more powerfull then nice job. Most people say go and buy one. But it takes a bit of savvy to actually do it. Nice one.

Smash every joint in the body with a hammer and bolster. Start with the toes, then up and up and up until you get to the head. then using a 25mm wood bit start drilling in there ear dum and push Very hard on hammer mode. Then watch and wait for the blood to drain. Then for giggles place 26" large 3 inch thick innertube (kenda downhill) then contect to a compresser (or hand pump what ever you wish). Push inertude into anas all the way in and leave the valve out the ass. Conect the pump and voi la, we have more blood and shit.

3. the reason i need new wheels is that the car is a hazard. It has not traction what so ever thats why i want new wheels, its mainly the width i need as mine are like a rizzla thickness = HAZARD. (and before you ask the tiers are fine)

I love my car...it does look really nice....but if i had 600/700 pound to spend..i could spend it it on something alot more practical.

well basicly iv got £650-£700 to spend on 4 wheels and tyers for my car. Now it dosnt have to be all spent but im not fused. Its my first car so i really know wats out there. I really like the look of OZ but wolfrace have it also. Im looking for either a ti finish or black. Preferbly spoked not a solid face. If anyone has any nice wheels in mind oh my cars black by the way please inform moi.

You mean the wind blowing through the open windows being forceful enough to pull the glass out? I doubt that mate, it would have to be rediculously strong, at least enough for complaints from the passengers as their eyelids are torn from their faces. Plus you would've stopped right after the almighty bang, in which time the wind wouldn't have been able to tear the glass out. For that to happen you would've had to ignore the massive smashing noise, proceed to achieve a ridiculous speed then come to a halt eventually and notice the rear window missing.
I honestly think one of your mates broke it by accident and doesn't want to admit it. I may be wrong, but the facts just don't fit.
Yeah after something hit it thus causing a week point over the window its self, and the wind acting as a hammer effectivly pushed the shatterd glass out. But i dont know so. but if uv ever thrown a brick at a glass panal it does that spiders web effect then the wind would blow through that. But the noise was when the glass went out of the window.

You said that the glass was outside the car? If you had anyone in the back I think it would be about time to ask them a few questions. Unless you had a monsterous sound system and were blasting music at a stupid volume then one of them smashed it, either accidentally or not. I find it hard to believe that someone could've thrown something that resulted in the glass falling outwards from the car.
Well thats wat i said but if the "object" wasnt big enough to smash it but to crack it then the force created by the wind blowing through may hav caused it to blow through. It only needs a week point. But im confused.

No not at the moment its all im my garage as the amp was faulty when i bourght it. Its the standard stereo which is nothing to shout about really.

right i need some informative advise none of this is sorry about your window thats harsh ect, bull shit. Right picture this scene. I'm driving along southend sea front with 2 of my mates. Going along at a steady pace and then disaster struck...............BANG!!!!!! I looked round and i had a f**king huge hole in my back window and the whole thing had shattered. I stopped instantly and look about for some ignorant twats to savage. But alas there was no one to be scene. Pretty much all the glass was out side the car not in the boot. And the remaining glass was bulging outwards.
This is the confusing part you see. My dad said that someone must have thrown something and it shattered the window but kept it whole but as the windows were open it acted like a gun a blasted a whole through it. But i have hurd on a tv programme AGES ago that a certain car and model had this problem, but it was the pressure from within the car causing it to go BOOM.
IF anyone has any advice similar experiences please let me know as i curious and f**king pissed off. Iv been driving a week and i also go to lash out cash for a service on wednesday.

I yeah i recently destroyed my mech and hanger, iv got a nerw rear much sorted, however i do needthe hanger still. Iv got a koxx levelboss 1065, the old style (well 3 years old) and i desperatly need the hanger. Does anyone know where i can purchase a NEW one`!!!!!!!!!!!!! please help. Im begging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think il do that cheers, some of those replys seemed, well weird. Cheers anyway but if anyone knows how to make the chain stay in line without spokes, bolts, tapping or other weird shit, please say. Thaks for the quick replys people.

well basicly i cant run a cable in my rear mech any more due to the barral adjuster being smashed so iv moved the hi and low screws to there optimum place, but the chain line is still off a tad. Would a quick CHEAP and easy method to cut the main spring. Then it would float in its best position, or am i being stupid? help please.
