Errr, X Dream... I've just checked the names of the Koxx BMXs and they are all XTP variant names... I don't think Koxx do normal mountainbikes do they?
  2. I have always used taper for trials...however I have another bike which uses Isis, some Truvative Blaze crankset... Isis does not have any particualrly large noticable difference in stiffness compared to taper if done up well... I have had goes on other people's bikes who have Isis... I feel no real stiffness difference between Isis and taper... so long as taper is kept tight and well looked after... it is very good.... Taper is perfectly fine as long as it is watched after... Only problem about Isis is that it is so damn expensive compared to Taper... if you're after a decent set up.... But the arrival of 2005 Isis Echo cranks at only £55 is a bargain :D.... Most other decent Isis cranks were around the £100 mark until Echo came along :turned: I also read somewhere in a Mountain biking book 2005... in Halfords that Isis, in a few years would take over and be on any old standard bike.... kind of like the DVD-Video situation....

    T-mag

I have got a picture somewhere... it is different to the one in that picture... and also T-Mags are pretty good I reckon, better than XTPs which Benito Ros or someone admitted that they WILL crack soon even in thouroughbred comp usage... (Y)" I'd rather the extra strength than a super light comp bike... Credit all goes to Onzaboymark for finding these pictures: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....cmd=si&img=9910 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....cmd=si&img=9911 http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....cmd=si&img=9912
  4. Yeah, mod bikes arent that small really, they are quite large infact, like mini moto-trials bikes but, compared to BMXs, Mod bikes are rather large compared to them, Mods can be longer and higher up and generally fatter in shape as the mod tubing is normally thick alloy, whereas BMX is stick thin 4130 tubing. So yeah, Mod bikes are not small at all, and indoors they look massive!

    New Pitbull

Haha, typical of you JT, to put this up right after I sent it to you.... Well, we have one person to thank for this picture, and it's not me or JT.
  6. Not too sure if I want to come again, but I'll consider it, my bike is looking even better, black bars and Green zipgrips. Now i need to strip my pedals. I'll probably come if there are loads coming like 15 or so.
  7. Why remove stickers? Are you planning on a 'blank' frame or will you be buying Echo stickers for it.... Leave it if i were you
  8. Yeah, I use 175mm cranks, I run 22:14 which is 1.57 gearing, whereas I used to use 160mm cranks with 18:12 which is 1.5 gearing. With longer cranks they obviously give more leverage so the gearing does feel easier, so basically I have the same gearing as before... if you get me :D However, longer cranks do let you push more energy into pedal kicks etc. but they do feel a little odd at first when you have been used to shorter cranks, but 175mm is good, but 170mm is probably the comfiest for me... As JT says, it's all down to personal preference. Hope this helped :P

    B.m.x

The 4 seasons.... does that mean this bike is suited for the 4 main styles of BMX?: Vert, Dirt, Flatland, Street? Where did that name come from anyway? Or is it just weirdly based upon Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
