i had the same problem as you, i had a 1025 planet x mk6 and i wanted a echo control but i didnt know whether i should get the 1065 or 1080 but matt staples and simon talked me into the fact "long is better" so i just bought a 1080 and haven't had one problem, its amazing. :S
