  1. If you can get your hands on these they are a great fork, a little hevier, but will take on heck of a beating. The stock shocks from the Norco 250 from 2002, these are orange (great color) and they have 80mm of travle, and they work awesome! i don't knwo about the aftermarket ones, maybe they have better ajustablility, but anyway a great work, stong as heck.
  2. Good little vid you cooked up. I wish i lived up there with all that nice riding... Where i live there is nothing (N) just a few ledges here and there.
  3. That would suck if he lost his bike. Hope he didn't catch anything.
  4. What gloves do you wear? Fox Solo What's good about them? No big padding in the palm Would you recomend these gloves over others which you have tried in the past? Heck yes!!!11one one! How much were they? Dunno.. got them from a friend. I'm thinking around 30-40 canadian Where did you get them from? A friend.
  5. I'd have to agree with that. Especialy my disk brake, it seems to grip when it's humid out.
  6. Great vid, how deep was the water one of you fell in?
  7. I think the disc rotor is the only cool looking thing there..."
  8. I'd have to agree with this one, sounds the best... if you can't find anything use this
  9. I've seen a red one before, never a yellow. so i'd have to say yellow.
  10. Somepeople may like a little slip in their brake... i don't know why, but they may.. But i wanted to test this wire brush out before i grind. Because i'm looking for a good hold.
  11. I found when i was trying a wire brush as a grind alternative it can smoothen a rim, if you have a long wire. just find a wirebrush at your hardware store, and put it in your drill and lightly rub away the grind you don't want. somethign like this, maybe a little longer wires http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v222/Exenth/DSCF1430.jpg tips: the shorter the wire, the deeper the scratches. the longer the smoother
  12. Is it just me or does that look like a weapon of mas destruction? hahaha just kidding :(
  13. I finished using a harder brush, made deeper scratches, after it wear off i'll grind, or if i don't like it i will grind. I'm nort worried about waisting my time, it was a snowstorm today, so i had a day off school, so i'm really board sitting home not doing anything. I already waxed my snowboard once.
  14. Next time i go for a ride i think i'm going to stop into the hardware store and see if they have a harsh wire brush. I am also concerned on pad wear, because my LBS doesn't carry magura style pads... yet... i'm trying to get them to order some in to stock. untill them i'm gonna see if i can get the wire brush to go deeper, because i just did it quick.
  15. Okay, so i've been thinking about grinding my rim... my Local bike shop owner told me not to, because it will weaken it... i know all you guys, or most of you guys use grinds. But i've been thinking, and i tested this out, i found a Wirebrust attachment to a drill, and used that to scruff up my rim, kinda of like a really light grind, i think you casn find these wire brushes in different textures, to make a lighter, or hard grind. This is a pic of the wire brush and this is my rim after. Personally i think i'm going to use it just so my tar will rub on my rim better, but try it and tell me what you think, If you find out about these wire brushes post about it, if there are other textures or hardnesses.
  16. Never met you bud, I havn't been in a comp yet... so i don't know what you're talking about. sorry.
  17. I think putting 40 psi of helium, and 40 psi of air is the same.. because a 40 pounds of feathers is eaqual to 40 pounds of bricks (Y). Also it'd be really expensive just to pump a tire up.
  18. They are $850 candian (sugested retail) you can find a dealer on the site i do believe. i don't have one, got my self an evolve :turned:
