well you see... i'm trying for a sponser with them... also check my location.. canada... i don't want to spend more on shipping than the rim is worth.

I can't recall on the width... sorry I've been told that DX32's flat spot really easy, so that turned me off of them fast.

I actuly don't have one... cracked it. it was a norco so it got sent back. They are either going to be sending an 05 Norco Evolve, or an 05 norco moment.. probably the evolve

    Rims

Is that going to work on a regular trials from with maguras? I was looking at it...and a buddy of mine has one... and it doesn't look like there is enough room for it... although he ride an older rocky mountain grind(non trials rider).

    Rims

Okay, okay. I'm in need of a new rim, My LBS doesn't have any connections with and trials companies yet... so we're looking at Alex rims, sun rims, and a couple others.. Anyway i just got off the phone and we are both thinking about "Supra V" kinda heavy, but the brake serface is large, and it also dips in to makes the spokes shorter and double eyelets, thus making the rim stronger. Anyway if you have a better idea for a rim, leave it in here. No koxx's or those types because we can't get them (N) . thanks -Dylan.

    Norco Evolve 04

Maybe the weld was weak, i'm not sure. It was still faulty because it cracked, right? Somethign went wrong, it wasn't because i layed my bike down and started crashing on it with a mallet. There was some sort of error in the construction process of the frame. Think of it this way, take a flexable metal rod, around the size of chain-link fence. Bend it, bent it back, bend it again, so on and so on, it startes to wear, and then it snaps... now to relate that to my frame... i think the weld might not have been bonded completly to the metal, thus creating more flex than there should be, and the repeted flex cause it to crack. Thats my thoughts on it.

    Norco Evolve 04

Peter, it's a nice frame. I know you would probably like after what happened to your old one. as for that, you're an ass, sorry but it's true. It was their fault it cracked, faulty welding. And for 8 months of owning it it'd really only been ridden for 6 months because of the winter. But i don't regret buying it, tough (other than the faulty weld) fairly light, and the down tube doesn't deant easily. in the end a nice frame.

    Norco Evolve 04

Nope, thats my first trials bike/frame. It is a weird spot, not sure what actuly made it...
  15. Thats good to hear, Happy riding :-

    Norco Evolve 04

Okay, so i got my evolve around october last season. Not much riding on it because of the snow here in canada, but it's sunny out now, and i've been riding as much as i can. so anyway i'll get to the point. I'm not too much of a hack but i still land some things hard :)" , but it shouldn't have a big effect on the seat stays... but thats wrong :- .... take a look for yourself: I think it may have been from my magura, although i ran a booster, so the flex would have been minimal. anyway coment welcome. oh and the lack of paint is because the paint was cracked, and i thought it was the metal, so we lightly sanded the paint off and the crack was gone, so i kept riding... but i guess it just needed some time because the metal actuly cracked. BTW i took it into my LBS and we're sending it away monday, so i can get a warentee frame(norco has a 5 year frame warente if i'm not mistaken)

    New Koxx Rim

ever thing about building the rim up and then maybe taking a little bit of welding to it? then sand it down. This could make the pin stronger. Or am i stupid?
  18. Is it possible you might have an ovaled head tube? Bearingss could be shot/not put in right. Try a new star nut, sometimes they are put in a little odd, and they can bend causing some problems.
  19. Looks like you're just trying to save some weight... Kinda like those lefty forks j/k that stinks, i cracked my norco evolve on the seat stay weld to seat tube. it sucks. Sent it back today, Hoping for a warentee frame.
  20. nice little vid, looks like a nice place to ride, probably doesn't get old fast.

Awesome pics peter, btw it's me Dylan from Kentville :(
  23. water is an acidic level of 7 (neurtal) so it shouldn't corrode at all. I know the whole motor thing got dropped but just as a note an engine puts a lot more force on the pistons than your index finger... so there should be no trouble using water. I broke my cross over hose yesterday so i'm bleeding my brakes with water. Havn't tried it yet, hope it's good.
  24. No one to ride with, i'm the only trials rider around here, i hate it. I find it hard to progress without someone to push you to the next level.
