  1. Hi. Am thinking about gettin a motorbike for my 16th birthday soon. I want to know a few things about these bikes so am calling anyone who owns one. -The capactiy of the tank (litres/gallons) -Miles per Gallon -Distance travelled on a full tank- -Cost to fill up the tank -Cost of insuance for a year -Whether you think they are worth spending the money on Cheers
  2. Sorry to piss on your bonfire mate, but this is a lot harder to do than you think. The council will not let you use the land with pallets and stuff, as they are not fixed, and are considered unsafe. If the council help you, it will only be for a park made of concrete, etc. and will also have lots of rules, and will probably become boring as you improve. A better idea would be to find someone who owns land, other than the council, and ask them, as they are not obligated by as many rules and regulations. They may offer you their land to use, on the condition that it is kept tidy and you all sign disclaimers that you will not sue if you injure yourselves, etc. Well done for trying though, and I hope you are successful in finsing someone and sorting out comps and stuff.
  3. Great Riding. I thought the music was good. And I wish we could find a hall like that with all that stuff in to ride, how did you manage than one?

    Merseytrial

You look good for your age and how long you have been riding, keep it up!!
  5. Are they on eBay? I saw them a while ago, I would stickj to what you know though and get a Hope, can pick one up off For Sale/Wanted for about the same price.
  6. I saw that advertised and thought trials would be a good subject to make one on, but I'm not good enough to do the sport justice :shifty:

    24"

Hi. I've been looking at 24" bikes and they look fun. Just a few questions: To convert from 26" to 24" all I need to change are frame, forks, and rims. true? Where can I get 24" frames from? Where can I get 24" forks from? Cheers

    Postage

Anyone know how much it costs to post a frame? Or the best way to send one? Cheers
  10. I might be being dumb, but whats the advantage to those forks? Wouldnt normal style ones be much more practical and stronger?

Heatsink Konigs on a smooth rim, they are amazing.
  15. Do you know anyone that has one that you could have a go on? As that will help more than anything. Everything I have heard about them has been good though.
  16. As the title says, anyone got any tips on hopping on the front wheel as all I can manage are two or three. Cheers.
  17. Can anyone engodigoee ir for me or send me it over msn? Cheers (addy in sig.)
  18. Looks nice. I think you're supposed to use the bike pics topic at the top though. (Y)"
  19. Like the bike but that colour scheme is crap.
  20. Will you please read the posts? Its not that nobody can be bothered, its just that others have tried it, and it does not work. Councils will not spend the thousands of punds building a trials park, which will probably get broken and will not be used by many people. Also, if you had a park, once you had done all the lines there, wouldn't you get bored of it?

    Pad Reviews

Pads: Heatsink Konig Time used:4-5weeks Rim used:d521 Grind: No Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura HS33 04 What is your opinion of a working brake:locks on solidly, yet can still rub without locking for manual type moves. How do they compare to previous pads you have used:absolutely amazing Review: Got the new Heatsink prototypes a few weeks ago, put them on and were pretty good. Once I bedded them in and got back into riding after a two week break, they are absoultely amazing, I have the best brakes I have ever tried, and everyone who has ridden my bike agrees with me. Get these pads.
  22. Hi Mate. Am all fpr the growth of the sport, but what do you hope to achieve by giving the council a list of names, emails and addresses? Cheers.
  23. Hi Just spotted these on bikedock and thought they were cheap, only a tenner each, and so I am considering getting some. Anyone use them/have used them? Are they any good? Cheers
  24. Heatsinks and a mod rim then. The new Heatsinks absolutely rule.
