Some cool lines going there, plus you've definitely increased the size of your hops since i last saw you ride! Good work!
-
Looks like you got some cool spots to ride. But what i really want to see is pics of Mr. Kan riding Nice pics though.

Some nice lines there and looks like you're getting on well with the bike! Oh yeah, an for some Bizarre reason you look taller and a lot less Pie-Influenced than in real life...was thsi meant to be viewed in widescreen?

10.30 is awfully early for me too. I'll make an effort though. Yea, bring your phone out Julien, so we can both find where you are! I think i'm also qualified to moan about ankles, but will i pass the age requirements to join the Old Man Rants?

Here's one of my efforts, although it's looking pretty tame compared to some of the pics in this thread: It has healed nicely now though!

Yea, ride is still on! How does Sunday sound for everyone? If not, what day would be good?

Ok people, i need some help. I'm going back to riser bars after years of using flat bars. I used to use the Easton EA30 bars and then a few sets of Azonic DWs. What i would like to know is if there are any new alternatives. I'm currently running a set of Club Roost risers (which i got cheap to try out), they're a 2.5 rise and a nice shape, but I'm finding them a little too narrow. What Riser bars do people use these days? I've tried the search but there were numerous threads about Zoo Risers etc.. Oh yeah, and what's the difference between the Azonic Double Wall and the Azonic Double Wall DW?

Cool, i'll be there. I think Julien is back from his holiday next week sometime. John is on holiday too, not sure when he gets back though, but hopefully he'll make an appearance. Olly and Chris should be up for it too, they probably haven't seen the topic yet. Come on! We need more people. There were loads on the last ride (I went to) haha.

There could have been more bikes coming? Presuming he wasn't the owner and he was just getting the dog out of the way so no more damage was done. He could have been a very nice man who went to help the cyclist after the cameraman had stopped filming. It would have been rude to stand there and carrying on filming after all. However, i would like to believe it was his dog and he did a runner. We can't be sure.

Nice vid there! Nooo sign of MAD hops at all! Some nice rail rideage too The bikes looking good too! I haven't ridden most of those spots, were they actually local?

Hey, I've never run a grind on my rim before, but i've not used too many different brands of pads. I'm currently running a ronnie rim. I've used: koxx browns, heatsink blues and currently using plaz pads.

I used to have an ASBO warning, but this expired in October. I was informed by the policeman that another warning would constitute an actual ASBO, although i have reasons to believe it was an empty threat. Firstly, it was during freshers week and on my first ride, so i think they were distributing these warnings accordingly to sort of 'lay down any rules' but in the shape of an ASBO for impact. Also, on approach the policeman seemed pretty sound about the whole procedure and sort of outlined what we couldn't get away with. However, i didn't push this theory at all and i guess it worked because i did behave (although i would have done anyway!)

That's like putting two of the same halves together though. Imagine cutting a chicken in half horizantally, once you put it together it wouldn't make sense...a bit like your idea. Unless it was vertically, but that's a different brand of poultry. Maybe i'm just as mad.
