  1. hmm i dunno i would because then you can run snail cams and it will be alot better and i dont really think it will damage the frame but if you were to snap your frame riding and wanted to claim it on the warrenty they wouldnt let you it is up to you if you aint planning on claiming the warrenty if the frame snaps, then go for it but if not dont cheers mackey
  2. is this a 05 lever because if it is it has happened to a couple of my mates i can imagine it being quite annoying what i recommend you do is buy a 04 lever and put that on
  3. go for a profile they are sweet as but i wouldnt gofor an echo because of what i have heard in the first week they have been blowing up so they have gone back for redesigning but i am not sure wether its true or not Profile all the way

  5. i used to find my hands hurt alot even with wearing gloves just carry on riding the more you ride the better they get and then you will find where it has been rubbing will get alot more stiffer and it wont hurt as much so just keep riding
  6. i had chain tugs and always seem to had problems with them then i got some snail cams from Tartybikes and then i had no problems at all the ones i have are the Inspired SS (Stainless Snail) Tensioners and they are only £10 well worth the money because you can forget about your wheel alignment forever cheers mackey

  9. hi i was just wondering if any one has the new echo rim andm what it rides like?? also does anyone no when the new echo hub is coming out and what it is going to be like???? thanks mackey
  10. i have had both the 04 and the 05 maguras and on the 05 i have had all sorts of problems with it i snapped the lever from just going other the bars slightly and pulling the adjuster through also i find they flex more. the 04 maguras are alot better they have a much stronger feel and are a nicer shape i find you can get both the 04 and 05 complete sets from chainreactioncycles the 04s are £89.99 and the 05s £99.99 i reckon you should go for the 04s definately though :P :)
  11. go for the echo team cnc forks they are wicked and i just got a some and they fell alot stiffer and generally better than my koxx forks . The echo forks are £112 and are avalible from tartybikes
  12. i ride the yourself replica bars and dont like the way they ride that may be because i have the 04 bars and they are flexy and the 05 ones arent but i recommend you get the zoo! bars
  13. really nice bike, went on it last night it was a really nice good at gaps and wheelswaps :turned: good bike (Y) by the way want another go tonight
  14. it really depends on what sort of riding style you have zoo! python are excellent for long riders where as something like a xtp or a monty 221 ti are good for short riders i ride a koxx levelboss short and really like the way it rides compared to my t-bird
  15. firstly edge closer and closer to the edge of the drop on your back wheel then when you just reach the edge let your front wheel drop till it is almost vertical and give it a little kick to land on the back wheel and bend your legs to compress the landing start by dropping your front wheel at little stages at a time then you will get the hang of it but start small and work your way up
  16. i reckon you should have a look at the rb brake booster because mine is really good and doesnt allow the brake to flex they are £30 and are avalible from tartybikes www.tartybikes.co.uk Also selectbikes have a few echo boosters
  17. i have a magura with water in it and now it is getting colder i am starting to worry about it freezeing. So i dont no whether to change the fluid back to oil or put a little bit of anti freeze inside (as i have heard people say )if everyone thinks anti freeze is the better option how much should i put in? any help and advice would be good thanks :S
  18. follow the guide above that is a good guide deonn trials 55 :S :P
  19. you may have flared your frame (Y) if you are doing up the bolts tight and then it still rocks that is.This could involve a new frame so i would take it to a bike shop to see if they can help you
  20. i would agree with most other people that they are a overkill. In my opinion i dont think they are that good because i have spoken to many downhillers about them and they say that only work well if you have them constantly on going down a downhill course. Also they are not designed specifically for trials more for freeride/dowhill so i reckon you should maybe use the fifty pounds you were going to use to buy one on saving for a hope mono trial i have just got a hope mono trial today and they are amazing and are alot better than hs33s so go for one of these instead of a 6 pot. (Y) (Y) :)
  21. for £350 you cannot get many 26" bikes brand new if you can stretch to £400 you can get a T-Raptor complete from Tartybikes. Or you could always go for second hand bikes from ebay. Cleanbikes also have a second hand section.Try having a look on here for second hand bikes aswell. You could always go for a 20" (Y) because you can get a slightly wider range for the amount of money you have but it does depend what riding you like doing.
  22. i never had a clue that the pads came slightly angled at one end (Y) thanks for the good information (Y)
  23. i have been on a train several times to get to rides and places with my bike they havent said anything to me about not being able to take my bike with me on the trian and i havent had to pay extra just a standard ticket so i dont see why it would be any problem for you
  24. i had this problem to with my shimano deore hub i opened it up and it was all shattered and everything had gone wrong in it so i got a new hub best bet is to open up your wheel and have a look in side :P
  25. i rip most gloves to shreds i have had all sorts mostly fox gloves like the sidewinder and the mojave etc personally i reckon you should go for something like the sixsixone gloves as the pair i have which are the 661 comp gloves are good because i havent got one hole in them yet. i got my from chain reaction cycles www.chainreactioncycles.com and are priced at £17.99 they come in colours black blue and red in s,m,xl :P good gloves :-
