  3. MONTY!!! They are so lush, mod or stock they are the nicest bikes to ride, with the right set-up.
  4. Can some one tell me wether those azonic bars are 04 or 05 please.( the link at the top of the page). appreciated, ash.
  5. I've been looking at some thing, which has never really been known to me. I don't know the name or model but they are literally those headphones which go round the back of your head but they have a built in mp3 player. Sean russell, pompey rider on the Revell, he has them and they look lush. I'm searching for them as we speak. Ash.
  6. Sorry but the word is Trackstand, not truck stand. Just saying.
  7. Well, I on the other hand have given my mavic masses of sh!t. Top quality rims that can't be beat for price and performance. ash.
  8. The big companies are starting to, well prototyping I think, koxx and onza are. But they both look :( ATM. GET A LEESON!!! ash.
  9. Or build up your specialised, then sell it, then use that money to buy a lush bike.
  10. Yer he was soo funny. Can't ride this weekend, raped my brake finger. nah I'm getting the azonic double walls now.
  11. Well I am running them on a smooth rim atm. So I guess I'll get whats coming to me. I hate grinds, join my gang lol.
  12. I hope you realise that plaz pads with kill you If you get them wet.
  13. Hahahahahahahahahahaha. they are probably the worst things for a grind ever. you will have green dust allover the place. It's like puting plywood into a sander, lol. get some heatsinks for a grind.
  14. T-snapter!!! Either get the T-rex the rev Is selling or get a new one, only £250 ish.
  15. The time has come to buy new bars and I really don't know what I need. I've had easton EA50's for 9 months, with a 1.5inch rise. I like this height but I fell they are too thin being 26". I feel 28" should be about right, but I really don't know what are strong, light, reliable and recommended. I think these look useable... azonic dw BTW are these the 05 or 04 version of the bars. A fellow rider told me the older versions were nicer. Thanks, ash.
  16. Almost definately the trackstand, then endos and wheelies. well thats what I did. Seemed to work, lol.
  17. Simon and heatsink, how come your names on the posts are no longer pink? On topic: You should not get harassed/diminished for not wearing a helmet. If you hurt yourself you hurt yourself and if your not wearing a helmet by choice you are going to hurt yourself worse, unlucky. ash. BTW, Danny and/or Tomturd I like the nice new setup.
  18. Yer get a FBM shirt. Or you could get a leeson one. leeson clothes
  19. What are we expected to reply to? Take pity on your comment of how your 'friends' are being immature? USE MSN. WE DON'T CARE! ash.
  20. Does anyone know wether that rb hub is ok/light? It looks really high quality. ash.
  21. Which bit Is the rotor on the lever? Like what does It look like.
  22. Stealth were making one, never found out what happened in the end? Anyway the "silent clutch system" is also known as and originally called the torington system. Where basically the inside of the hub is usually made from bearings, but I guess you could use needles If you wanted. One in a triangle sort of thing. Normally the hub is more complex and slightly more accurate, lol. ash.
  23. Do you mean a rolling transfer? If so It Is basically a transfer/wheel swap but just start rolling. Roll at the wall, start small, lift the front wheel at the last second and just touch your wheel on top of the wall and then preload for about a second and just spring. This needs to be performed In one swift motion and Is a very complex move to learn for a beginner and takes ALOT of practise. ash.
  24. I really only use tar near the end of a ride when I'm knackered, just to make things slightly easier, and so I don't hurt myself. I feel for learning It Is a bad Idea because It Is really cheating yourself. What I'm trying to say Is that If you can make a gap using tar AND no tar then you can successfully make that gap. My opinion anyways. I used to use the stuff alot but felt It wasn't really helping my technique/ learning because It made me think I could do things that I really shouldn't be making. ash.
