  1. I bought a ticket because I need the exercise.
  2. Ahh thank you! I also like the diagram. I'll try that now.
  3. Thanks, I like to be clear... What exactly have I done wrong? What is the fix?
  4. Hello All, I need some wheel building advice please. I have built lots of wheels and never encountered this problem before. New rim (TT 32hole), new spokes (180mm non drive side, 177mm drive side), New hub (TT SL M30), Old nipples (Red). 3 cross pattern used Each nipple has been turned 9 full rotations. (18 half turns) And I come across this problem where some spokes are tight and others are loose. Some are so tight, I don't want to continue turning these, the loose ones will reach tension eventually, but the spoke head is quire exposed. I then noticed that the pattern is cyclic. All the spokes that are closer to the wheel centre for the first two crosses are tight All the spokes that are further to the wheel centre for the first two crosses are loose. The only thing I can think is that the spokes a not cut to the correct lengths, annoyingly, I didn't check this pre build and I really don't want to have to delace the wheel to measure them unnecessarily. However the spokes that were left over (x2 of Each) look correct. The other thing I was thinking is that perhaps this hub has a weird hole offset, but I doubt this would account for millimeters of difference at the nipple. I initially only bought the hub (TT) and spokes as I had a spare TT rim, found this problem, blamed the rim as it was bent already without any spokes. Bought a new rim and have the same problem. Help Please! Cheers, Ash
  5. I would love to. The leon still isn't back! But within the month hopefully. 103.94 to beat. I forgot about the bullshit puncture madness last time. That was irritating
  6. Sooo, apparently vaping is just as bad as smoking now... Opinions? From a study prior to the government giving the go ahead for the NHS to support ecigs as a smoking replacement due to start next year. Even though the study seems to have been conducted in the US. Apparently due to chemicals in the flavourings, but so far I've found no info on which chemicals to avoid... Popcorn lung, holes in lungs and cancer has been mentioned. Sounds like bullshit to me, but i guess we shall see.
  7. Riding is insane. those hooks at shipley and the rock wall were nuts. He missed half of his toast with that lurpack though! Also, that is a lot of riding from one piece of toast!
  8. Get some photos up. It should be a case of. Wick down the channels. Assemble. turn airflow ring so the centre of the 32 holes aligns to the dot. remove top cap. fill up, top cap back on (tightly). turn back the airflow ring so the dot aligns with the dot. Tar darrr. I tend to turn the unit upside down before I open the airflow. But I've had no problems since I sorted the wicking correctly. Brilliant bit of kit.
  9. turn the air flow ring so that the centre of the 32 holes lines up with the dot on the tank
  10. YES. Hopefully I'll have the leon back by then.
  11. I live in Alton. It is not good for riding.
  12. I've had this before, f**king weird. This whole sleep paralysis thing is new to me (just done some googling) f**k that shit.
  13. Lol. I have always done it. Not good, but I rarely take photos of my fingers. Mega pixels caught me out there! The worst bit is after the biting where I get the scalpel out to finish off the under nail skin. That's what makes it pink! Gone though 15ml of vape fluid in the last 12 hours somehow. Think I am loving it.
  14. Just tried my eGrip at 15.5W as I usually run it... Not really a comparison that can be made.
  15. My wire arrived today so I started building! All the batteries on charge, now all 100% Wrapped my first 24g coils. So much easier than 30g! Much less spring back. Firing them up and repositioning... Wicked Trimmed... I then wet the wick and positioned it where I wanted. Assembled and filled and here we are. Firing on 50W, seems to be about right for me for now at 0.3 ohm. This is the first puff. Now proceeded to go all the way up to 100W. Bit much maybe... Either way, very happy with it. Cheers for the advice guys. Cheers, Ash
  16. Yes, I did mean 2 x 1 ohm i.e. 0.5 overall resistance. However, I am currently about 1-1.3ohm (Single coil) set up depending on coil and that has been fine for ages, just want the extra battery. Hence buying a mod with x2 battery slots. But I do want the option to go low and I will be starting with this, if the batteries don't last me long enough for my lifestyle, I will back it off somewhat. The mod has said not to take it below 0.15 ohm so I guess that is my limit to begin with, but I was thinking 0.3 and go from there. Sub ohm resistance is difficult to measure, so don't want to take it too far to begin with. However I have done the calculations and should be fine for 0.3ohm. I'll be using either 2 or 2.5mm coils as they are the dia of the turning tools I have. Not that interested in massive clouds. I often use this whilst driving. Need to see. I am using a 60:40 mix atm, Might go further towards 100% PG to reduce clouds if they are offensive to my vision. I love the design of the Bellus, can't find a bad point so far, based on design. Not 100% sure how to remove the glass yet, but I'll cross that bridge when I need to. And yeah, that juice has made that setup look rank! Cheers, Ash
  17. Coil build isn't happening yet. Just ordered some 24g and 28g kanthal A1 for different build setups as I only have 30g atm. Should be able to build between 0.3 ohm (24g, 2.5mm ID, 8/7 wraps) and 1 ohm (28g, 2.5mm ID, 8/7 wraps) on a dual coild setup. I figure that will give me good wick-coil coverage. Only gives me 37mW/mm^2 (24g) on the steam calculator, so may not get hot enough for what I need. Similar on the 1 ohm (30g) set up. May take some refinement. The Bellus actually came with x2 coils which was nice! But I doubt I'll use them. I can't seem to disassemble the Bellus completely. cannot remove the glass section because I can't separate the chimney for some reason. Watched some youtube videos and they just unscrew it. But i can't get the bugger to budge and I don't want to f**k the glass trying whilst it doesn't even matter.
  18. Sigelei and Bellus arrived today! Very nice! Really pleased with both. Cheers for the advice guys!
  19. Okay, cheers. Load of questions from me atm. My bad. New to this side of things.
  20. Good stuff. Cheers dude. Been reading up about the SX330 V3 chip in the Sigelei and come across this Where the specs say: Does this mean I require 30A batteries? Will the LG HG2's cut the mustard? EDIT: I may be getting confused with maximum discharge rate and maximum continuous discharge rate.
  21. How are you guys measuring resistance of your coils? I've always used a multimeter, but I'm not sure it would be accurate enough for sub ohm vaping. I bought the batteries btw, now looking at my charger and thinking. Maybe up to 4.2V +/-1 might not be suitable. I currently have this Not sure what to think to be honest. have been doing some reading and apparently it can overcharge some batteries. Although I never had any problems when I was using my mechanical mod. Opinions? Better options? Safe to use? Cheers, Ash
