Help! how do i measure the size of my chain to find out weather i have a 1/8 or a 3/16 ? My chain is a KMC Kool Chain, i no it isnt the smallest one as my mate has a KMC Kool on his bike thats thinner.. ?? Oh, and bumpage on the 1/2 links question !! Ry ;)

I cant agree with that. Hot s are the tyres that sent me over the bars and caused me to crack my ribs. iv had no problems with Panaracer tyres.. Also, not meaning to suck ass or anything, but neil tunniclife dont seem to have a problem with them and i have seen Ryan Leech using them too. personally i wouldnt risk safety over saying a few grams! Ry ;)

Locking the Rear mech?! Ooo, please someone shed some light on the meaning of this! it might be the answer to some of my problems! is it basically where you remove the circlip, backplate and spring from the part or the rear mech that bolts to the mech hanger , then just bolt it straight to the mech hanger? does it work ok like this?? Ry ;)

i have had quite a few azonic bars... dont get the pyrimids, they look nice but they snap at the grip in no time! the DW's are good and yes i did sware by them , till i also noticed i am going through them quick! they all usually snap at the handlebar stem, altho i had one pair that went weird, and kept bending, and i kept bending it back! there 2 years old now and STILL intact, just a bit flexy!! lol I now use Onza carbon bars, as all me m8s demanded that i get some 'Proper' Trials bars. i couldnt look back now, there much stiffer, half the weight, wider and loads better for bike control. Get some Onza Carbon bars.... Or Zoo bars! Ry ;)

Maby someone has one they can send me?! Thanx Ry (Y)

I have had a panaracer fire XC 2.1 folding version on the front for over year now! and it still has life and i have probally only ever got 1 or 2 punctures. i am running it with a Super Dooper skinny light tioga tube on a X517 rim. i think it is an amazing tyre, expecially when it has properly worn in. i have also used the Fire DH 2.3 and that is also an amazing tyre. not as grippy as a IRC Kujo, but for a few grams more than the ElGato, its better for pinch flats and grip. Also when you combine this with the front Fire XC, you have tyres with matching colors, which is always good! I would never recomend using an xc tyre on the back wheel though, they're not built for pinch flats and are NOT grippy! i gapped down some stairs from static on the back wheel, on an non slippery concrete surface, with a XC tyre on the back, and it wheelspan, and my bike landed sideways on the floor with the bars sticking up, and i landed my brest bone on the end of the handlebars, bruising me brest bone, 1 rib and cracking 2 ribs!! My 1st bike that got me into 'Stunt Riding' (as i didnt no about trials for another year & half later) was a GT Zascar LE, the medium sized frame( next up from smallest). it had 21 gears, XT and XTR stuff and my XT 3 ring crank got absolutly mashed to pieces on wodden benches!!! lol Ry

on the x-over hose that connects the 2 magura calipers together, there are the 2 metal parts (either end) that allow the hose to screw into the calipers... the hose is not connected to these using an olive etc, instead the part is Pushed into the hose... hopefully you all know what bits i am on about.... Now, those little metal bits on either end of the x-over hose, i need to connect one of them to a magura hose... What is the best method of getting it on there? i have tryed heating it and pushing it on,but the hose expands to much and leaks! please don't say 'go buy a new one', as i am not using the x-over hose for the usual purpose. Ry

i started at 16/17, stopped for a year when i was 20-21, then got back into it about 4 months ago. i am now 22, so i would say on and off for 4 & a half years. Ry

oooo! i like !! tasty looking bike there, i like the plain look, looks like it works! but yea, you need the front disk! lol How you finding the single speed without mech? any problems? i am getin a pitball soon, and i am going to go single speed too and do away with the rear mech, but use a king rear hub. is the chain at a nice tension?? what chain and gear tooth sizes are you running? My dad brought a second incase one went wrong, as he has had trouble with his before. Coach driving does actually pay well if you get with the right company. between £350 -£475 a week take home, depends on how many hours you work. it pays better than working as a bus driver for arriva (done that too). But i wouldnt recomend the job, if you have money to do a PCV licence, dont do it, do a Class 2 Lorry licence instead, theres many more jobs avaliable and the pay / hours are better. Ry (Y) -The666ers, i said i am buying the car!! (i did state that bout 2 / 3 times!)

What is your problem. was you picked on at school or something. i told you I DON'T LIE and you greatly offend me by saying so.. i just looked at your profile and ain't you a little bit old now to be arguing..? i am only replying to stand my ground and stick up for what i no is true. You do not no me, you have not seen my car and you do not no what it can do. i don't ever post things to cause arguments, and if i realized it would cause this much hassle, i wouldn't have posted that 1st post. don't go on about telling me that i am trying to impress people. as i have had a lot of personal achievements and done things that i can probally guarantee you haven't. but i don't say anything as i don't like to boast. My car is my car, No not as good as yours but i am proud of my car and what i said it does, it DOES. I apologize to everyone for replying to this persons insults, but its in my nature EXPECIALLY when someone calls me a liar.

Its made of the same plastic that standard bumpers are made from, not sure what plastic it is, poss ABS plastic? i dont no! i saved up and brought my 1st on the road car, cost me £3,500 basically do all the overtime you can get your hands on, then for my second, i shall be getting a loan and selling my car. Its all about the credit! unless your rich! lol

The car in the pic is an MR2 not a Ford escort. the car in the picture is the one i am setting about purchasing at the moment. The car in the picture has a 3sgte Toyota Celica GT4 2.0 Turbo engine in it. with a standard output power of 245 bhp. the bodykit is NOT FIBREGLASS. goto the veilside website and look if you dont belive me. Edit - Phil white, TAKES TWO TO ARGUE. you posted the 1st comment agienst my post.
-
You started this arguement. and i dont speak shit. whoppy doo dar, your rich.. stop bragging! we dont want to no.. and if you really think i am better than you for haveing a car, so be it. cars mean barley anything to me, so much so that it hasnt been driven in over a month now, as i would rather be riding my bike. its cheaper and better for your personal fitness. Bit of advice, with all your cash that you own,, Go buy a life you looser. oh, and your type -r wouldnt out run a STANDARD Mr2 turbo rev 3 either. byebye.
-
Bump! Also, how do you turn off the built in firewall that aol has, as i think this is probally the problem.
-
Nothing childish there, u lost and trying to intimidate me, trying to make me look silly. i dont no much bout Type-R's , personally i am not a great fan of them. altho i no the integra's are faster as my next door neighbour owns integra -t-r and his mate has a civic -t-r. they told me they had a race and the integra pissed all over the civic, but the bloke with the civic has had a supercharger conversion fitted now and it beats the integra. Also, surely loosing to the mr2 then admitting that it cost a THIRD of your car, surey thats a bad thing isnt it? if i had a £15 - 20,000 car and got beat by a £8,000 car, dont think i would like to admit it. Also i think, this MR2 at £8k looks far better than a Civic Type-R at THREE times more. (Y) End it here ok. i dont want a demestic over this.

I dont chat to make myself look good. and u think ur so posh with ur gps.. Well, i am a coach driver and have one too. so i also no exactly what speed i am doing... infact, i have 3 as my dad is a lorry driver and uses one too. As for your type - r, well maby you have got a lot of money to waste. whats up? too scared of the integra type-r ?? bit too powerfull for you?? Tell you what, Mr Mucho, soon as i get my MR2 through, ill come find you and give you a little race... ill give you a head start. -you'll need it! Your obviously the twat here as you got nothing better to do than slag off what other people have and say. belive what you want, everyone that knows me and knows my car appreciates what i have done to it. shame you cant too. looser. Standard.... Escort GTi (Mk7 115ps)... 8.8 sec Rs2000 (Mk7 FWD)...8.3 sec XR3i (Mk7 same engine as GTi but 130Ps) .. 8.2 sec Rs-Turbo series 2 ... 7.9 sec So, my car std is 8.8 sec, so just by putting in the 130 ps cams knocked off .6 of a sec to bring it to standard xr3i spec. i am allowing my stopwatch 'Timing' To be out slightly so, it read 6.8, i allow for .2 sec (7 sec) if you think about it, its std with 130 cams @ 8.2... and the D-Cat combined made a hell of a difference to the 'Pull' of the car. so combined with the rest of the stuf, 1.2 seconds faster than standard sounds about right. BTW, i did forget to mention its interoir is stripped from the front seats back, and the heavy std seats have been replaced with lighter Cobra daytona buckets Thankyou.

im not chatting shit, i dont chat shit. and dont accuse me of chatting shit. i get very offended by it. And as for loosing power through transmisson, yes you do, but how much exactly depends on the car, quality of parts and wear. and being as it has new of Everyting transmission wise, and the flywheel has been balanced, there is minimal power loss. I have dyno papers to prove the hp, they were done november last year.. ill dig them out and scan them in next time im at my mates house as i dont own a scanner. the 0-62 was done with a stop watch, yes i no, its not anywhere near the most accurate way of doing it, but my speedo is very much in sync and unless your a retard and hesitate or have a nervous twitch prior to slicking 'Stop' it must be accurate + - 1 second. and top speed times wer done by raggin it next to me mates MR2 Turbo down the medway drag. (M20) I am geting rid of this car to purchase a imported Mr2 Turbo Rev3 soon, its been madley upgraded to run 350 BHP, full veilside kit, 60 in under 5 seconds 175mph +(PROVEN), my insurance is £800 full comp for this to which is amazing.

What a looser. and what 'probable pile of crap' do you drive then? I own a escort GTi P reg and i have modifyed it MYSELF, and it pisses over most cars, and now gives Rs-Turbos a good run for there money. it sounds amazing, not just a noise like most Boy racer cars, it spits 4ft flames out of the exaust, the throttle response is instant, the power is instant and it loves being thrashed. i have never drove a more 'Lively' Naturally aspirated car... heres some of the preformance mods i have done (Myself!) (engine is a 1.8 16v Zetec-E, NON turbo) Gas Flowed head (well this was done at CHD) Ford 130 Ps spec high lift Cams Adjustable vernier pullys 2litre Mondeo throttle body 2litre Mondeo Airflow sensor De-Cat pipe Full stainless Magnex exaust system K&N filter Magnacore Competition leads Modified ECU (but im waiting for a Superchips Daughterboard) Custom made gearbox with a Xr3 1.6 Ratio Final Drive gear Rs-Turbo Limited Slip Differential Koni 'Yellow' suspension B+F with adjustable dampening 30mm drop Front Strut Brace Rs2000 Rear disk brakes and beam. 150 BHP (wheels) 165 Bhp (Flywheel) (Std 105Bhp wheels) -0-62mph 6.8 sec, top speed 148MPH ! I think this car is amazing, being as the RS Cosworth YB 2ltr T35 Turbo has 205 BHP and 0-62 in 6.4 sec. -i have also changed the body work and interoir, but im not gona go into detail with them. My insurance Full comp is £600, i am 22 3yrs NCB and the car to buy and modify has cos me around £5,000 So MC-Bolo, find me a car that can go like mine, turn heads like mine and still be cheap to insure and cost less to buy without loosing any quality. -Bet you cant. Ry (Y)
