Go up to the obstical at a fair ammount of speed, pull up at the last minute making sure you don't hit it with your front wheel bend your arms, lift the backend up and bend your legs making sure your body is as low to the bike as possible and the bike is as high as you can pull it. Learnt it on my BMX.
