Main reason when design started was to be able to fit stock parts on a MOD frame. I wanted someone to be able to use parts that are easely findable or just liying around and use it on a MOD. In fact I see it more as a mini stock than a MOD. As for the vertical mounts.. just find it really less of a pain. Just put your wheel in the drop out and it's done. No movement.

Here is a picture of the tensionner. It is home made by james. Here is what the geo looks like so far for the proto. +55mm bb 1015mm wb 360mm cs 71 degree head angle MOD is a full proto, nothing is set on it. Apart that for sure I am going with 135mm spacing and that the TT will have a curve to match the ST-1. James and Jeff who are testing these and they will report back and changes will be made as per there recommendation.

Since it is still in proto, there is no weight or no definitve finish product. I am not too sure about this horizontal mount thing, because vertical is really less of a hassle. Just put your wheel in and it is done. This is bike is in fact like a mini stock as you can run gears if you want, multitude of hubs as it is a 135mm spacing. But like i said nothing is definitive.

Nice build... Might want to try lowering the fork a bit. This frame was designed for a 4'' Max fork.

I guess alot of people started trials on the Zebdi. I guess having it back, would be a different story as trial geo changed so much it would now be obsolete.

Who's talking about using the hanger...

I agree with you guys that an horizontal mount drop out frame is good because you are able to run single speed easy. But don't guys find it more of a hassle, since the wheel moves, repositioning and getting proper tension? With a vertical mount you pop in the wheel and it is set. I know tensionners are not that great so far, but this could change...
