MattB replied to spode@thinkbikes's topic in Riding Pictures
Very cool Pics Spode. Was a great day and the weather was good (apart from the hailstones for a minute). Next comp is at Barrow farm on the 13th of may and there is a british event at hook woods on the 29th I do believe. The date may be wrong but its around then. Matt -
Sorry to go OT but anyone know is the brit round there on the 15th is still going ahead? Thanks Matt

Cool Photos rick. I agree with Nick though they are rather hard to see. Mucho respect for going to all these rides to photo us as well. Hope you get you bike soon. Matt

Ok I presume you have the read the info on the site but incase you didnt understand. To sign up to the club you want to ring Dave Bradley on 01702 559 137 in the evening no later than 9. Tell dave you want to sign up to EBTC and can he send you an ACU license application form, EBTC application form and also you still have time to enter the next competition at thriftwood so ask for a form to enter that (alternativly you can sign up to the forum and get the entry form off there). The ACU is going to cost you £10 as well as the EBTC form. These allow you to do all the EBTC competitions (8 in total). Entry into each competition is also going to cost you another £10 per competition. I don't know your standard of riding but I would advise you start in white and also come along to some of the trainign sessions Stuart holds. These are most weekends. Check the website for details (Its in the left hand coloum on the first page). If you are still unsure give stuart a call on 01277232952 and ask him about sunday practise sessions. They cost £2.20 which is the entry to throftwood and you can stay there the whole day. You aksed about the grounds? Well you don't have a ground as such but the main place for the EBTC is thriftwood. Its a great place to practise with lots of pallets, cotton reals, A frames... You also have lots of logs and muddy sections to practise on as well. Here are a few pictures Hope I helped you and I'll see you there. Matt

A rear disc is very hard to hit and I have sidehopped towards the disc, missed and not hit it. It also gives more grip than a maggy espcially if on natural. Matt
