  1. Sick!

Recently I was starting to get a bit, I dunno, it's not bored because the riding is constantly amazing but your recent videos just seemed to lack something. This one seemed really watchable, I'm not viewing them with any sound so it can't be the music either :P

Props for bringing out so many video's recently (Y)

  2. Raw - I havn't got a clue what that is - is it simply just you getting the camera all set-up right before taking the pic?! Forgive me for my distinct lack of photography knowledge. It's something that really interests me but I know nothing!

Well, I guess that makes it 2 things that you're very good at to make a dece photo :P

  3. Agreed on the AliC wallride, a beautiful picture! Sweeeeeeeet pics Mike, you've got trials photography totally dialled (Y) The snake one's awesome too.

How much work do you do on the photos once they're on your computer? Do you just crop them or do you fudge with them a little, enhancing colours, etc?

  4. LOL...

Why has this reached 3 pages?

Just say look, do you want to split up or not - All this "break" rubbish is very schoolchild, either you want me or not.

Either way, the situation is sorted instantly :)

Have you read the decent replies though?

Seems like a pretty good, albeit annoying (for the person on the receiving end) way of sorting things out. I would offer advice, but I don't really know jack about female relationships, I used to be more of a slut, longest relationship I've had is 2 months! I hope things get sorted though, you certainly seem pretty down about the whole thing

  5. True, if it gets shut we should organise a mass ride-by on his house at 5am, 100+ bikes all at once!

Harsh grinds, koxx browns or smoothys and tar - that'll get piss 'em oorf!

Sad news, though it's good to see Tyketrial getting on the case so quickly.

  6. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. That guy is such a power house! Absolutely mental...

  7. 300 - 4/10.

I was really quite disappointed with this film. I definitely give props to some of it's visual elements; the cgi styling and the slow-mo fighting. It's just so much of the film was really cheesey (to my mind); it tried to be too cool for its own good. I found myself laughing and cringing more than anything else - might have been the weed's fault.

frank miller comic, but the story is pretty much the same.

what rowly said basically. far too overrated.

Totally agree - nowhere near as good as Sin City for a start! The dialogue was shit and the film was probably about half an hour long if you play all the slo-mo at normal speed.

    It was ok though 5/10

I initially thought along the same lines, but it's straight from a Frank Millar comic so that's why there's the cheeseyness. If you watch Sin City the dialogue is actually on the same level of cheeseyness, but it's just so damn cool with the black&white, awesome actors and different story lines that it gets overlooked. Agreed that Sin City is better, Rodriquez & Tarantino - come on!

It's just because there's not so much going on in that it's a regular warrior battle movie that the cheeseyness is more recognisable. It's still a good take on warrior type films though.

Perhaps I'm trying to con myself into thinking that the £3.80 I spent to watch it was worth it!

  8. I've gotta say I agree with you there Div/Dave, re: debating the issue, I just don't think any huge mind blowing conclusion would come from here. I can't say personally that my view has changed from this thread, but for alot of people reading the thread hopefully their perspective would have been widened, i.e. evolving their ideas as you've said.

    Meh, *group hugs*

  9. Im sure the majority of us dont call blacks 'niggers', its only used in referance to our white friends, so why does it matter?

As said, you know that people find the word that you use offensive. Even if both you and your friend aren't offended by it, there are others that will be. Why don't you just not say it? As asked, what do you gain by questioning it? The ability to use a word when there are hundreds of all generally unoffensive alternatives? Even if you and your buddy were black, people would still find it offensive.

Rob I think it's more the fact that there seems to be a level of discrimination, as to who is allowed to say certain words, that people are complaining about.

I realise that. From my very uneducated perspective on the whole matter I do agree it's pretty daft. Unfortunately the simple fact is that groups will find it offensive when people use certain words. Yes there are definitely double standards, hugely illogical double standards. But logic doesn't account for it all, people will have different experiences and perceptions related to a word, but when the underlying 'vibe' (for lack of a better word) is negative - people should just leave it. When people are smart enough to look above this, it doesn't really mean anything, and serves no purpose when debated? That's my $0.02.

  10. This seems like an obscure PC meeting. A huge group of relatively un-informed white people with no idea discussing something which if you use your brain doesn't have to be that big a deal!

If you know people are going to be offended, for whatever seemingly logical/illogical reason, by a word you use then why not just be the bigger man and not say it? What do you really have to gain by questioning it? I think the english language is probably the most developed, word filled language in the world. I'm sure people can find alternatives!
